I love Pastalini and come back to eat here all the time. They have plenty of options for the pasta, sauce, and toppings. Personally, I enjoy the baked pasta bowls, which include ricotta and mozzarella. Three garlic knots were also served with our pastas.

This restaurant has a great vibe — modern yet cozy. I ordered the vegetarian lasagna, and it was comforting and flavorful, with plenty of melted cheese and fresh veggies. The server was friendly and made excellent wine recommendations to go with the meal.

I came here for brunch and was blown away by the quality. The eggs Florentine were delicious, with perfectly poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce. The fresh fruit on the side was a nice touch. The coffee was strong and aromatic — a great start to the day.

They do have some gluten-free options and try to accommodate you as much as possible too bad the white sauce has wheat in it.

The food is great, customer service very friendly. A must for me every time I drive down to SD for work. But call to make sure they are open. Twice I’ve came by and they were closed. Once was on Sunday should have checked google app was closed, second was on a Saturday google said open but was closed. I am disappointed both time I’ve brought my family and driven from Los Angeles. Family was upset.

We’ve been coming here quite often (5+ times) and this was the first time it was disappointing.
Temperature temperature temperature! The chicken on the cesar salad was just barely warm. We addressed it with the staff who said it was supposed to be hot. Unless it cooled down in the 2 minutes it was out of the container, the top layer of chicken in the container is not the same hot temperature at the bottom. Big issue for safety when it comes to holding temps.
Calzone crust was baked perfectly with the perfect crunch! This is what we’ve grown used to from here. But the internal ingredients were somehow undercooked or completely raw! I think the oven might be too high — it can cook the outside and leave the insides undercooked. The marinara lacked seasoning. Today was just not their day. I hope this is not a trend.

The food was good. I felt welcomed by a person. However, the other person was not welcoming. I was being discriminated against for not knowing much about pasta. I grew up in Asia where I did not really eat Western pasta. I did not know what each type of pasta is called and the names of the sauces. I was confused and the person helping me was being short and not kind. I was excited to try the food and the food was good. I am willing to give it another try.
