The food is great, customer service very friendly. A must for me every time I drive down to SD for work. But call to make sure they are open. Twice I’ve came by and they were closed. Once was on Sunday should have checked google app was closed, second was on a Saturday google said open but was closed. I am disappointed both time I’ve brought my family and driven from Los Angeles. Family was upset.

We’ve been coming here quite often (5+ times) and this was the first time it was disappointing.
Temperature temperature temperature! The chicken on the cesar salad was just barely warm. We addressed it with the staff who said it was supposed to be hot. Unless it cooled down in the 2 minutes it was out of the container, the top layer of chicken in the container is not the same hot temperature at the bottom. Big issue for safety when it comes to holding temps.
Calzone crust was baked perfectly with the perfect crunch! This is what we’ve grown used to from here. But the internal ingredients were somehow undercooked or completely raw! I think the oven might be too high — it can cook the outside and leave the insides undercooked. The marinara lacked seasoning. Today was just not their day. I hope this is not a trend.

The food was good. I felt welcomed by a person. However, the other person was not welcoming. I was being discriminated against for not knowing much about pasta. I grew up in Asia where I did not really eat Western pasta. I did not know what each type of pasta is called and the names of the sauces. I was confused and the person helping me was being short and not kind. I was excited to try the food and the food was good. I am willing to give it another try.

Got the gnocchi, seemed a little raw. Wanted to like it but wasn't great. Also, there was a sauce on the menu that I wanted, but they told me that it was a daily special. Need to make that clear on the menu so it's not confusing. Also, not a fan of the sausage.

lol I ordered Uber eats pickup at 1140ish. Got there at 1207 and they hadn’t even started my order. Waited 5 minutes and when I checked my bowl to eat there wasn’t any grilled chicken in it.

This was the first time my family visited Pastaloni and it exceeded our expectations. The flavors of the food were absolutely amazing and the prices weren’t bad considering how filling everything was. Service was really good too! Our waiter was very helpful with giving suggestions when we were torn on what to get! The owner came and asked us how our food was while we were eating. We will definitely be back again!
