This is now our favorite sushi place. The fish is incredibly fresh, and everything on the menu that we ordered was delicious. I especially loved the nigiris, the fish basically melted when we ate it. So YUmMY! Service was quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you want truly great sushi without any fuss, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful time at PB Sushi in Pacific Beach! FYI There is free neighborhood parking once you turn off Garnet Ave.
We had the Sarah Roll and the Mango roll. The coconut shrimp and garlic edamame to start. All so fresh flavors and beautifully prepared.
For drinks we tried the Hard Guava Lemonade, so refreshing with a sake kick!
We sat in the indoor-outdoor patio with air conditioning and relaxed into the evening. Sarah took care of us and was just an absolute delight with great recommendations.
The California rolls were gas station quality. The spring rolls were cold. Presentation was lousy. Sushi was low quality. No wasabi. No soy sauce. No chop sticks. No napkins. No fortune cookies. Staff was unwilling to listen to our concerns or offer to correct the order. Never returning. Never referring anyone. Horrible experience.

Careful! This place use to be our “go to” but something dramatically changed. We ordered out some sushi and it was terrible. Fish seemed old, dry and cut by a 10 year old. The rice was the worst part(the most important part). The rice was dry, grainy, tasteless, and patchy on the rolls(I feel I could have done it better). Where I once passed this place as the “GO-TO”…I will not go back.

Over priced, Pretty terrible. Too many menus, all confusing. Seemed like at least half the rolls contain imitation crab. The cucumber salad was basically a plate of pickels. The rolls were loose, falling appart and the fish was mush.

If you are a food delivery person STAY AWAY!! THEIR ORDERS Are ALWAYS LATE!! EVERYTIME ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT. DONT DO IT!! ITS NOT WORTH IT! AND THE STAFF IS ALWAYS RUDE!!!!! Especially when u ask about the late orders. Not worth it.
