Just not good. Calamari = slimey No wasabi I ordered spicy garlic edamame and got just garlic Ordered Philadelphia roll and big shot roll no wasabi Waitress wearing skirt with her bottom half out. Won’t be back.

PB Sushi is exactly what you’d expect from a casual sushi joint tucked into the chaos of Pacific Beach—no frills, but it gets the job done. The service is actually above average (shocking, I know, for PB), and the sushi? Solid. Not mind-blowing, not disappointing—just right in that dependable middle lane.
I’m admittedly a bit picky when it comes to sushi (I’ve been ruined by too many omakase counters), but this spot hits the craving when you need a quick roll fix without ceremony or a second mortgage. If you’re nearby and in the mood, it’ll do just fine.

First time trying here after 5 years living in SD. Horrible! Not recommend! All rolls has the same flavor, service was really bad, our server came to our table every 20minutes, and the restaurant was empty, most of the time we were just waiting for someone to take our order. And after all this 18% of gratuity will be add to your bill no matter how many people at your table (was only me and my boyfriend). Won’t be back!

A fun sushi experience with excellent chef recommendations from Sashimi, to a fantastic variety of rolls like spicy Albacore and Creamy Crunchy Roll. Along with cooked dishes like Teriyaki Chicken and Garlic Edamame.

The venue is run-down. The place only had another table in addition to ours and after a considerable amount of time, I had to stand up to pick up my own menus because the waiter was (?) She seemed inattentive throughout our lunch. Dinning area looks dark and old, restrooms look dirty even tough they smelled like they had just been cleaned. Food is good but the overall ambiance diminishes the experience.

I wish I could give this place 7 stars I love it so much yall are the best. My friends and I will never stop coming back. The service is great the rolls are great and we can do our Saki bombs in peace. I love pb sushi with all my heart.

This place was ridiculous, the waiter was lazy and rude. They did several errors on my order and overall the vibe is not enjoyable. Any other place would be better than this. Don’t come here.
