It's refreshing to taste the actual flavor of coffee when ordering one. After being forced to settle for Starbucks out of sheer convenience, ii was reminded coffee doesn't need to taste like brown sweet water. Friendly staff. Clean. Delish coffee. We make the drive every so.odten just to treat

It's a cool place, great coffee, but depending on the person and the time of day, service can be confusing.

Same old shit on a Saturday morning 2/3/24..I'm trying to enjoy my visit to Peets in RB but can't..The music as usual is way too loud and I can't hear anything on my phone..I usually sit outside at all Peets locations because of this situation. However one of the lazy ladies working here today didn't bother to unlock the chairs and tables. It's not just loud music, buts it's really low quality music..Not mainstream pop hits,it's just obscure songs from obscure grade B artists..Id hate to move on from my long time patronage of Peets, but I may not be given a choice.

All the baristas are super friendly and personable. They always greet you when you come through the door and make you feel welcome. The coffee is so good. They offer good vegan options for milk and food. The seating space is a little small inside but overall it's a nice and cozy place to work or meet with friends. The patio is very spacious and is a great alternative to sitting inside.

Pete's has the best drip coffee around. This is a great location with tons of parking. There is a decent amount of seating inside, but there have been days where there is none available. The patio is great too, plenty of outdoor seating available. Staff has always been helpful, and they usually have what I order in stock. The restrooms and seating area have always been clean.

WAS having a really BAD day: Ex-wife kept starting with me, my now EX-boyfriend DUMPED ME, MY FLIGHT'S CANCELLED, my two sugar babies dropped me for the same young blondie blonde WHO'S NOT EVEN THAT ATTRACTIVE, my freaking dumb Chihuahua just got repossessed by my mistake of a step-uncle, AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT, Starbucks was closed!!!! So when I saw this place around the corner which I've never been to before, let's just say I was open-minded. BEST decision I ever made! So open, yet so cozy is the place, so chill and casual but not dark, stale or cold inside compared to most coffee shops. As soon as I walked in, three GORGEOUS girls greeted me as if I had been coming there for years; all smiling, all friendly, all accommodating, and all SO PATIENT. Some moron in front of me kept complaining about waiting 3 MINUTES for a fresh cup of coffee wtf?!?! And these ANGELS dealt with him with such effortless grace, the Pope himself would blush. After the old geezer left, I was willing to wait those three minutes, and it was THE BEST cup of COFFEE I had in a such long time. According to one of the cuties (who was SPUNKY ;D), that apparently happens a lot...wtf. Pissed that my spotty memory can't recall when I went nor any of those chicks names. All I know is that I will be going to Peet's in my area more often- provided if there is one in Newark somewhere.

Peet's is always awesome! The triple cappuccino in a small cup.... Forget about it! ?☕Makes Starbucks taste like 2 day old Folgers Freeze Dried.

I walked into this location with just having broken up with two of my five boyfriends and was devastated. But then i looked up and locked eyes with a blue eyed babe who was ready to take my order. Her smile was the only good thing i remember happening to me that day. Her warmness and cute little barista outfit inspired me to rise above my current circumstance and look for more boyfriends!! Ill never forget the name of that gloriously zesty barista Mina. I will share my story until the day that I pass into the ocean.

I came in here cause everyone says it’s better than Starbucks. Not really, asked for one thing, medium vanilla late not so hot kids temp, got it and it was scorching hot like they did the opposite of what I asked it was extra extra hot thank god it wasn’t actually for a kid cause that’s a lawsuit. Get it together.

Petes coffee to me is just a place to get a decent full-bodied coffee. Staff is very courteous and attentive. But I enjoy it way more than the rubbish they serve at Starbucks.

The only reason it got up to two stars is because most of the long time. Employees, here at Rancho Bernardo are absolutely wonderful. The reason for the low ranking, and believe me, I wanted to give one star, is that the last 5 times I've ordered a dark roast coffee at the encounter they have been OUT and ask, "can you wait a few minutes while we brew more?" How is a coffee shop out of brewed coffee? Seriously, how? Three months ago it happened three times in a row. I waited two months to return. Went in again, ordered a specialty drink and got it, came back a day later, ordered dark roast at the counter, and wouldn't you know it, " we're out of dark rush right now, but we're brewing more, can you wait a few minutes?" Every time.
