This is a place to hang out. They have games, abundant alcohol, ample seating, large food menu and good wifi to work. Other cafes and restaurants are built to get people in and out quickly. Perk Social is a good third space.

So there are two downsides- this place is hard to find and they don't serve a full food menu (presumably because park social is 2 blocks away). However, they are dog friendly, the coffee was good and everything was reasonably priced. The decor was as adorable and it was very relaxing. The barista wasn't super friendly and didnt seem to be a fan of dogs from the way he was looking at mine.

Great little shop, but somewhat hard to find depending on where you parked or walked from. I had a delicious latte and they made it very quick.

Very cute spot for coffee with plenty of seating and WiFi. It's a weird location, it's in a business/apartment place but the parking structure gives you free parking for 2 hours with validation and it's pretty close to the place. Very friendly customer service. I got the luxe latte, it was good with cute latte art on top. If you're in the area try it out!

This is such a cute cafe! The staff is amazing and so is their service. I had the luxe latte and it was made with mocha and brown butter- delicious!! My friend had a chai latte and her drink was really smooth too. There’s plenty of seating outside, and free wifi. I will definitely come to work here more often. A true hidden gem!Parking: They validate parking upto 3 hours!

Hidden coffee place. After Starbucks and peets keep disappointing me. I seldom buy coffee and make my coffee at home. Glad to have this place close to my apartment! Love Lux latte!

This coffee shop is amongst the apartments on Spectrum Center Blvd. It has some tables inside, as well as cute outdoor seating. I ordered an almond milk latte with toasted almond flavor. It is sweet without being overly sugary. My drink came out quickly. They also serve pastries, yogurts, and breakfast burritos. They are only open M-F. It's definitely a nice addition to the neighborhood.

The Lux latte is my flavor of choice. Reminds me of the Sweet Latte from Blue Bottle. This spot is super convenient if you live in the Spectrum neighborhood. The place is pretty spacious, and the decor is chic and stylish. As a bonus, it's pet friendly too.

Your first impression when you walk in this coffee shop is...it's cute. I don't typically use that word much but that is seriously the vibes this little spot gives off. And that's not a bad thing. It's cute in a chic and hip kind of way. They have decent indoor seating but they also have a lovely little patio with ample seating, which is a must when living in San Diego. The coffee shop is located in an assuming spot of an office building, sandwiched between a huge parking garage and the Vive Luxe luxury apartments. So it's actually really easy to miss unless you know it's there. But it's an awesome little spot for your coffee and tea needs. They have you standard coffee drinks but I would recommend you try their specialty lattes, which are named after the apartment complexes it is surrounded by - Ariva, Vive on the Park and Vive Luxe. My personal favorite is the Luxe Latte which is an brown butter infused mocha drink. Get it hot or iced - you can't go wrong. The prices are great also! Plus they have both freshly baked pastries/goods and chilled sandwiches/salads for lunch. Wished they were open on weekends but I guess it makes sense for them to close on weekends when the office building they are in is also closed.

Place was so cute inside. Very modern chic, open, clean setting. The employee who helped me was friendly and made some small talk while I waited. Delicious nitro cold brew! Prices seemed very fair to me. I just wish they were open on the weekends too. Might need to try some of their snacks next time.

This place has such a cozy ambiance but feels very elegant at the same time. As you walk in, friendly smiles greet you and gladly will recommend things if you have trouble deciding or will make whatever you need. I got their seasonal Gingerbread Latte and it was spectacular! Rich, but nutty flavors with a sweet hint. A perfect balance for the fall season! Thank you for the great cup of coffee! ☕Parking: The street parking can be hard to find, or is for residents only or is timed so I recommend the parking garage for a longer stay there. It will be worth the money and is closest to the cafe. If you can get the 30 min. Parking at the roundabout next to the building, then that is the most ideal spot for a quick trip.

Perk Social checks all the boxes of a great coffee shop and I am delighted to give them a five star review. The location, friendly staff, and overall vibe make Perk Social a great place.First, Perk Social is located in a newly developed area just off HWY 163 in Kearny Mesa, near the Convoy District. I will include some photos of the modern and curated atmosphere surrounding Perk Social that includes very fancy office space and luxury amenity filled apartments and a park. I walked to Park Social from the nearby Courtyard San Diego Central hotel and was delighted that there was an option for coffee and light food so close by. The Perk Social hours are open until 3:00PM and the Bistro at the Courtyard closes much sooner after traditional breakfast hours end.The staff at Perk Social are very friendly and stood out to me during my San Diego visit. Despite only having a small order and the café not being busy at the time of my visit, I was given full attention and thanked for my order. So many times when in a similar situation I'd expect an employee to be distracted with social media or doing some administrative task but at Perk Social I felt that the employee was genuinely happy I was a customer at that moment in time. Thank you.The overall vibe of Perk Social is a professional, friendly, modern, curated experience that will meet the needs of a variety of customers and is a step up from similar businesses in the area. I do think Perk Social has an affiliation with the nearby Park Social, but I'm not sure. Park Social is more of a full service restaurant in the same area whereas Perk Social is a simple café and coffee shop.

Met a friend at Perk Social for coffee. It's a beautiful place with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great, very friendly. The coffee was also delicious. We had a coconut latte and a taro + coconut latte; you can't go wrong with either one.Of note, this place can be a little bit tricky to find as it is tucked away and there's a far more visible place called Park Social really close by.

Design & flare is A+ for Instagramable content. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of people were working on their laptops…seems like there is a lot of accommodation for just that. Parking is in a paid structure…but you get the ticket validated for free parking when you make a purchase. My iced caramel latte was a little weak for coffee flavor.Parking: Parking is in a paid structure…but you get the ticket validated for free parking when you make a purchase.

My friend recommended perk social to me to and I decided to check it out on a Friday morning! Perk social is located in a business park area and they do validate your parking if you park in the I got the Luxe Latte, which is a brown butter latte. The drink itself was decent, but I couldn't taste the brown butter flavor. It tasted like a regular latte with some carmely notes, but it wasn't super strong. The menu here is pretty small and the staff here was super helpfulThere are lots of tables to do work at, which is really nice, but the only downside is that there's not any places to charge your stuff. I'd stop by to try another drink some time! TLDR: cute coffee shop with small menu
