I am so glad I was able to eat at perry's one last time before close.
I have traveled to San Diego many many times over the past 22 years, and have enjoyed many meals.

Nice classic diner look, but i want to eat here too. everything cooked in mcdonald's-bean oil and the tortillas were so old it tasted like cardboard. I think the bacon was microwaved too.
My wife and I ate here our first day in San Diego and we couldn’t have felt more welcomed. We left with our appetite filled by delicious breakfast, many recommendations for this beautiful city, and a wonderful memory. We will be back and highly recommend for friendly service and a good meal!

Customers loved the way they could have rice and beans with their breakfast instead of potatoes and toast. No one would ever give you as much butter as Perry's. The employees were always happy and ready to help you with whatever you needed. The place was clean but nothing fancy, just a lot of good food. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent.
