Received very late and the broth that is used to cook the rare beef was cold so it didn't cook the beef or the partially cooked noodles. The beef remained raw and the noodles remained hard. There was no microwave at my hotel so the food went into the trash. Just another food App delivery failure, it's too bad that companies don't use their own drivers anymore, that system worked so much better than the current food App method. The only people who are happy right now are the food App companies.

Decent Pho and Vietnamese option in proximity to downtown. I ordered their house special beef pho that comes with multiple different cuts of meat. Broth and meat quality was decent but I’ve had better. Staff were friendly, attentive, and no wait. Good prices for the quantity of food received. Relatively easy parking.

The foods were good, and the portion was very good for most people. I will strongly recommend for pho with soup, those were really good. The beef stew with bread was really special and rarely served in most of the Vietnamese restaurants. The restaurant could have some sudden noises from kitchen or front desk because the chef had to prepare something for cooking.

Beeeen coming here🤙
Pho Bo is easily one of my favorite spots in the city. The food is amazing, the staff is very friendly, and the place is really clean. I love the broth here, it's so flavorful and well seasoned you can really taste the work put into this broth. I am an avid pho eater and I can confidently say this place got some of the best pho. There's great variety with over 41 items on the menu, I almost always get the pho bo dac it never disappoints. I bring my group of friends (around 6 or 7 people) here to eat often. HIGHLY recommend this place it's just sooooo GOOD. Shoutout Andy at the front sometimes he gives my son Robux whenever I bring my family here to eat.

This restaurant is great; mostly empty on a Saturday night during dinner & I loved it. The prices are reasonable, but the main thing is how FAST the service is. I wasn’t sitting 5 minutes after they took my order before my food was brought out. There’s free parking across the street, and it’s located conveniently.
Edit: I’m making this at least six months later and started frequenting this place. I wanted to add praise for their hospitality. Every time I come, I get the same thing, and multiple employees remember me by face I guess, and come to my table as soon as I sit down with a menu and ask “same thing?” Really some of the kindest restaurant owners I’ve ever met. I’m really going to miss this place the most out of SD when I PCS again.

Chicken curry noodle soup. And a chicken banh mi. Both excellent. The soup is the best thing I've eaten in a long time. So flavorful!
Good amount of food. And with the price.

This place was so good, it’s up there now as one of my favorite pho’s. I got the chicken pho, the chicken pieces in there were perfect without any fat or hard grizzly bits. Their broth has really good flavor, seasoned well. I also tried their chicken banh mi and the bread was perfect, the chicken was seasoned well and it was overall very satisfying.

My girlfriend and I are in town with no food in the fridge after pushing our departing flight back for a business trip. She asked me what I was in the mood for and I said “how about the Vietnamese place in Barrio Logan?” She hopped on DoorDash and placed a delivery order.
She picked Rare and Brisket Tai Gau. I opted for the Bun Ga Nuong since I enjoyed it on a previous visit to the restaurant during a rainstorm. When the order arrived, I was upstairs folding clothes to prepare for our trip. My gf was about 50% done with her pho by the time I opened my to go container. I grabbed a bowl from the cupboard to combine everything before I poured in the sauce that comes with the vermicelli noodle dishes. As I was emptying the last of the lettuce from the to go container, my heart sank. There was an unwelcome guest in the bottom of the section that had contained the chicken, rice noodles, lettuce and bean sprouts. I lost my appetite pretty quickly as did my girlfriend. While throwing out the rest of her pho and my now unappetizing entree, my girl mentioned that the pho broth was extremely greasy.
One of her best friends is Vietnamese so her pho standards are higher than most. That being said, she slurps the pho broth every time time she orders it. She was not a fan of this broth at all. After our previous dine in experience, I was very disappointed with this takeout order.
I will not order from Pho Bo again. I’d recommend you check your food for “friends” if you do.

Parking is free, the environment is relatively clean, and the price is reasonable for this area. The taste is good. It can be said that the nearby stores are much worse than this one. It is worth recommending.
