First true Vietnamese place I have eaten, despite travelling in Vietnam, and the food and service were amazing, super tasty, highly recommended! Had a yummy beef dish w egg rolls, may have been #41? Cool customer (I think) also asked if I had a California patch (motorcycle rider), and when I answered I did not he gave me one, super cool. We'd stopped in as this is a favorite place of my friend and I'm super glad she shared it. Will return! Took an egg roll home to my roommate and she loved it, 7 hours later, carried in my bag on the bike all wrapped up.

I'm in Vietnam and just went to the US to work and visited San Diego to visit. Accidentally heard the introduction of the restaurant. Tried it and found it had a good taste of Hue beef noodle soup (a little more spicy for a similar taste). There are all older aunts and uncles here, so the service will not be like modern, Western restaurants. But I like this style ? It's very Vietnamese.The taste is not super excellent but still delicious to me. Please support this shop.*Cash onlyI'm from Danang, Vietnam and just got a new job opportunity in the US. Came by the restaurant and tried beef lemongrass noodles. It tasted good to me and reminds me of Vietnam flavor though it's not 100%.The staff are mostly adult immigrants and speak little English. Their service is not excellent and professional but intuitive and very old school. But I really like it! Very tranditional Vnese service. I don't mind waiting a bit more or taking a wrong order as I understand from their immigration background. Not fancy but that's why I like it. Best Vietnamese food at a reasonable price in town. Definitely a go-to. Ask for Linda, Linda Vista Linda. She is wonderful!

Was enjoying the food here for the past six months UNTIL they I was asked to pay a second time as they said they added the meal up wrong. They ended up charging me for two large plates when I originally ordered and ultimately received two small plates. When I asked why I was up-charged, they said “it was an old price”. This is false advertising and predatory pricing.

Not recommended. The server never smiled, my food was cold, and my egg rolls tasted funny. The chicken soup and fresh spring rolls we ordered had pork in it. As mentioned in other reviews, they only accept cash. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.....unless my worst enemy likes cold funny smelling food and bad service...then I would send him somewhere else as I wouldn't want him to get what he wants.

I came to ask a question, they said: one? And I was like.. I want to ask something, I don't want to eat. One of the people in charge started making signs of leave and, disappointed. So if you are not eating there, it seems they treat you bad.
