I went with my wife, my brother and one of my sisters. It was about three minutes before eight p.m. when we got there and my brother asked me to go in first. What I didn't know was that they close at eight and my brother, a long time customer, wanted to see if they would let us in or tell us it was closed before he got out of the car. Fortunately, they let us in despite the late hour. Not only that, they recognized my brother and fussed over us as if we were a group of celebrities....
Hidden pho shop in Linda vista
Me and my husband found this place on google maps and decided to try it out. The restaurant was empty when we got there, we were seated quickly. The servers are super friendly! The atmosphere felt very authentic Vietnamese. I order the number 4 pho small. The broth was very rich in flavor, the portion was big as well for it being a small. The spring rolls were a bit pricey to what we are used too. They were $13 for 4 small spring rolls....

I've been coming here since the mid-2000s, when I was in high school, and find myself back here because I am at school at USD. The pho isn't the greatest in the world, and the broth could be more flavorful, but it generally gets the job done. The staff are always friendly. And they only take cash.
