On Sunday I watched as one server did everything and busted her butt off the whole time as I ate. She cleaned everything up, filled water pitchers, cleaned the bathroom, checked on me, rang people up, etc. She was the kinda tall slender Asian girl with glasses. The shorter girl was doing nothing but talking to the kitchen staff and talking on her phone. She helped with nothing and just watched the other do everything. The girl with glasses deserves a raise and the other deserves less hours.

Food’s okay, but it was extremely noisy. A few loud guests ruined the atmosphere.

The food was so good! 😍 I had no idea what to get, but the owner was super friendly and helped me pick and it turned out amazing. Super chill place, great service. Definitely coming back. 10/10!

Food is okay.

The place is messy, disheveled, and staff was not friendly.

But, the pho was okay.

Not spicy, tasted fresh.

Price was reasonable.

I might come back only for the food.

The place itself I did not like, nor enjoy.

Pho and spring rolls are good, worth coming here for that. Bahn mi on the other hand wasn’t good, bread wasn’t fresh and they were very light on the fillings as well. Definitely a pho spot.

Stopped by for some pho and Banh mi and we were seated quickly as the shop was mostly empty. The pho was very tasty and was served quickly but we were disappointed by the Banh mi which came out about 15 min after the pho. The sandwich was cold and dry throughout and the bread was chewy with little crunch to it. The presentation of the sandwich made it seem like it had been left out for a while before being served. We were told the Banh mi are “always reheated” before serving which leads me to believe the they are not made fresh.

TL:DR, good pho but very disappointing Banh mi

This was my second visit today, and I have to say, the short rib soup might be the best soup I've ever had in San Diego. Rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting. My mom ordered the thousand layer burger, which was surprisingly good—unique and satisfying. The store itself is clean and welcoming, with usually no wait. Plus, the patio area is spacious and perfect for a relaxed meal. Definitely a hidden gem! Will be back again.

Place went diwnhill big time after the remodel. Basically self serve and the waiter is useless. Doesn’t understand anything. Food was really bad, no flavor. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
