I've been going to Phuong nga restaurants for a while now. She has a restaurant in City heights that specializes in Vietnamese rice rolls. It's absolutely delicious there so I had to give her sandwich shop a try. I came here on a Thursday afternoon with my coworker for lunch. The shopping center gets pretty crowded so parking can be tough around peak hours. The sandwich shop is not too big but it is filled with goodies so it's always a delight. We were greeted with a smile by the cashier when we walked in. After a couple minutes of looking over the menu I got myself the house special sandwich and my coworker got the grilled pork sandwich. She loved her sandwich and said that the meat was delicious. As for my sandwich I also really enjoyed it because they give you a decent amount of meat unlike other sandwich shops in San Diego. I think we'll be coming back here for lunch more often as we like to support small businesses and Phuong nga is so nice.

I've been coming here for years off and on, food has always been great as is service. I normally order a Vietnamese Coffee with my meal, and today it was filled all the way to the lid with ice; I ended up getting maybe 10 sips out of it. Maybe it's how they always made it and never noticed until now just seems like the portions overall have gotten really skimpy.

Wow, this was one of the best banh mi I've had in San Diego. I've been to their City Heights location plenty of times but they don't specialize in banh mi over there. This location is not in the heart of Convoy, but it's in Clairemont. Therefore there is plenty of parking and not busy.I ordered the #1 Banh Mi Special with extra pate. Total came out to a little over $7 including extra pate and tax. Such a great price because they pack this thing with meat and veggies. I love that they use french bread instead of baguette. Bread was so crispy and fresh. I really recommend asking for extra pate, it was delicious. The sandwich came out quick and overall, I really enjoyed it.I highly recommend checking this place out for good Vietnamese Banh Mi. The only thing they are doing wrong is not staying open later. They close at 3PM. So it's hard to come here on the weekdays, and they are closed on the weekends :(

This place was my fav a few years ago when it was Banh Mi Bakery. Not bad but in my opinion everything got worse after changing name and people. Better bahn mi options are near including Pho Duyen Mai up the street.

This is such a great small business. They are super friendly, remember my order, etc. and I am happy to come in here as often as I do.
