called in ahead and the place would not take my reservation and asked us to stop by, and after talking to the hostess for 10 mins to get a table for 3 we were told that we are to wait another 20 mins to get a table. and even when we told the owner that we called in to avoid this, he started mocking us. while I was holding my sick toddler son on my shoulder , he went back and forth mocking us for not calling 5 days ahead. what a disgusting owner/manager.
The food and service is great, the ravioli was some of the best I've had.

While passing through San Diego, we were looking for the best Italian restaurant. We found it! As soon as we arrived, the hostess directed us to our table and at the same time, the bread arrived. From start to finish the service was extraordinary. The food, excellent, fresh and generous portions. I highly recommend. We plan to go back this evening!

After spending a big chunk of time in Italy we are pretty picky with Italian food in the US though this place feels and tastes very authentic! The staff is extremely attentive and we were seated right away ( we did have reservations on a Sunday night) though it wasn't that packed.
We had mussels, minestrone and seafood pasta. We shared it and it was awesome that they split it for us at no charge. At the end they surprised us with complimentary dessert for our anniversary ( we mentioned it in the reservation).
Great price for the service and food you get.
Definitely want to come back and taste other things

This is one of the few restaurants in the area that stays open later during the week, and the packed house definitely shows its popularity! We were starving and thrilled to find a spot that was open and just a short walk away (right across from the Target shopping center). We started with the fresh complimentary house bread, which was a nice touch. For my entrée, I had the 'Petto Di Pollo Al Limone E Capperi,' and it was absolutely delicious—especially paired with a glass of Chianti. A great find for an Italian meal!

We came on a Sunday at 5 pm with no reservations, but we called 20 minutes before to make sure they would take us. The food was great! They also have gluten-free pasta. The ceaser salad was really good. The tiramissu was also good and not too sweet. The prices were not bad compared to other Italian places nearby that are reservations only. The customer service was really great! We will definitely return!

Had the bolognese and caesar salad. Both were just okay. Nothing special about it. Service was fantastic and the restaurant was great. Would I go here again? Probably not cause I want a restaurant that’ll knock my socks off. But food was decent and the staff were super courteous.

I'm a super picky eater and this place was AMAZING! The caprese wasn't anything special but my main course was the best pasta I've had in years. I got the tiramisu which I wasn't a fan of and one of the employees asked how I liked it and when I said I wasn't a big fan she was extremely understanding and offered to bring another free of charge. She brought the pana cotta which I've never had before but was super good! All in all the food was delicious and the service even better.
