Probably the worst Italian food I've ever had. The restaurant is very noisy and full of FLIES. Service was average. The bread was stale. The appetizer was great; it's hard to mess up cheese, meat, arugula, and balsamic. The ravioli was so thick and tasteless and the filling dry and gritty. The pasta dish had tiny bits of dry, overcooked, under seasoned chicken. Didn't finish either dish. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Waste of time and money.

Absolutely fantastic lunch at Piacere Mio! The food was excellent across the board, but the two standouts were the Ravioli di Salmone and the crumble dessert. The salmon ravioli sauce was perfectly balanced, rich, and intensely flavorful—a must-try. The crumble was the perfect ending: warm, buttery, and utterly awesome. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal!

The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. My wife had the salmon and I had the lasagna, we shared a fren salad and an Affogato for dessert. Pricing was reasonable and the hostess was spectacular, she managed to get us in with a short wait on a night when the place was packed. They did a great job turning tables did not rushing us. Would highly recommend!

This place is a GEM in South Park San Diego! Everytime I’ve come has been such a fun experience and delicious food. My boyfriend and I went here on our first date and then again on our anniversary, and we’ve gone with friends a few times too. Every time the service is absolutely incredible and all the servers have the best and most welcoming personalities! The atmosphere is so cute and all the food and wine is amazing and well priced. Always a hit!!!

Man, I want to love this place. Came in from out of town, love Italian, this seemed like a great neighborhood spot. Prices (coming from LA) are great and our server (Clemente I think?) was incredible. He was such a star, and really made what could have been a 2 star experience positive. The problem? My pasta, the tagliatelle with vodka sauce, was straight up bad. Tasted like nothing, not even salted. Worse than Olive Garden bad. This is frustrating to me because my girlfriends gnocchi was incredible, I could drink the red sauce. Lamb shank with mushroom pasta, also bad! No salt on anything, came with equally flavorless pasta. We tried to be polite, but our server could tell we didn’t like it and brought us some free cheesecake for the road which was so sweet. Great cheesecake too. So what I would say is, this is a rare bad meal at a restaurant I would love to visit again. Maybe just an off night, but the gnocchi tells me if you order right here your meal could be incredible, and you can’t beat the service or the price. We got two rounds of drinks and 3 mains and still got out under 150 with tip. Final verdict: I don’t know man, salt the pasta. But Clemente, you rule.

My partner and I visited for date night and our server Clemente was amazing! He truly made our night. His warm presence had a positive impact on our experience. The food was delicious and a great value for the price. We can’t wait to come back again. Our food came quickly and the entire staff was extremely attentive.
