I ordered 2 lasagnas to go, and the portions were shocking small, especially for the price. These tiny servings cost me $50, which felt like complete rip-off. I recommend to check the order before paying. I wouldn’t pay for it if I checked it.
Tastes good though.

Bad Service and rude people who work there, their food sucked and doesn't taste good, I tried Italian pizza and the Pizza they serve here is not even close, the cheese sucked and there is one person who works here asks too many questions and the customer service is the worst. NEVER VISIT AND THE MENU SUCKS.

The appetizers were fantastic. My steak was undercooked, bland and tough. The receptionist last night was not very friendly. I had high expectations as this place was highly reccomended by a colleague. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Terrible, seated no one came for 10 mins to offer anything water, talk about menu etc. They were more interested in there conversation. Never go back. First time there.

Outstanding experience, great food, and exceptional service! Highly recommended. Set in an upscale shopping center in Rancho Bernardo. Translated as "my pleasure of the south", this Italian restaurant does not disappoint. To my taste, a few dishes were a tad salty (especially the tortoloni with gorgonzola and saussage), but taste profile and quality were top notch. The spicy pene brought the heat but tomato still shone through. The mushroom spaghetti, off the build your own pasta menu was mild and pleasant. The chicken picatta was soft and tangy, the veggies cooked perfectly. Cesear salad tasted very traditional and the pear salad very tasty with a nice bosc pear (though the pear could have been sweeter or drizzled in pear suryp or rum). The lasagna was perfection - flavorful sauce, soft noodles, and delicious cheese, cooked perfectly and toasty on top. Yummmmm. The chairs are comfortable enough for a long meal, and the staff were extremely attentive and efficient. The pana cotta dessert was the star of the show. Perfectly soft and smooth, slight orange Creamsicle flavor, topped with sumptuous plump berries and a raspberry puree. Smiles all around the table. Yummmm. The facility is ADA friendly, and suitable for the whole family, if well behaved. Atmosphere is casual but upscale. Feels like family :) Will definitely go back. Pricing is very reasonable for this day and age, not inexpensive, but a bargain considering the quality, freshness and proper size portions. We split the salads and a half size was ample as a starter course. They have a full bar, even aperitif! We didn't have any drinks, but the cocktail menu looked amazing...next time, I won't be the driver :)

Dietary restrictions: Has gluten free. The water is filtered and tasty.

Parking: Parking lot adjacent. Lots of ADA right in front.

Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids over 8, if well behaved. Not kid oriented, but most kids can eat spaghetti and ice cream.

Wheelchair accessibility: ADA friendly. Wheel chair is no problem here. ADA van parking in front.

This review is way overdue. Piacere Mio Del Sur is our family's favorite Italian restaurant. We always have a fantastic experience here. The food is delicious. My favorite is grape salad and spaghetti bolognese, which are perfectly cooked. Lastly, the panna cotta - oh my goodness, it's creamy and heavenly. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff - Breno and Jordy. Luigi is always friendly. They were attentive and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and great hospitality. Grazie mille!

Incredible experience! Come for the food, stay for the service. Everything was delicious - light, fresh, authentic. Server was so entertaining, and gave an operatic birthday serenade - made it feel like dinner and a show. Very memorable experience and we might drive down from LA just to come back!

I had lunch today with a couple of friends. Food is great. We had Pear Salad, Michelangelo Pizza,
Tagliatelle Nere Al Frutti Di Mare, pistachio cake dessert. Service is wonderful and food was served quickly. The restaurant is clean, cool, and has good ambiance. I recommend this restaurant and I will be back.

Very nice place. Great place for a big get together. Everyone is so nice here to. The pizzas are good. It does get a little crowded. I would definitely get the salmon curry again.
