Love the warm olives. The salmon salad with lentils was perfect. They did not overcook the salmon as requested. It was cooked perfectly. It's nice to be able to get a very healthy delicious unique salad.
All the food is great and I have been coming here for 20 years. Piatti should now that the busser/helper names Ponches is AMAZING, Super Attentive and works really hard!!!
Posting offers a lovely dining experience with an attentive service staff. They prepared a spicy seafood pasta dish that was excellent. The spinach ravioli was very good. The portions were sufficient but there was none for taking home. Probably a more healthy portion size! We had three desserts which were a wonderful end to the meal. Pistol is Definitely one to keep in the rotation!
Perfect evening and ambience for my staff. We had impeccable service and the best meals. 10/10
The food is delicious and the staff were extremely accommodating. The place was really busy on a Wednesday night which made visiting at a table for six pretty challenging (we were inside at a nice round table). Definitely recommend the restaurant, but maybe more for a celebratory event or a smaller group...or with people you feel committed to be with but don't really want to talk to:)
The salad I ordered as my entree was totally blah. I don't know if it was the quality of the ingredients--tomatoes not being ripe, not enough feta, certainly not enough dressing. It was very disappointing.
Super fresh ingredients

I went to dinner for my birthday and ordered the ravioli with lemon cream sauce. It did not disappoint. I also ordered the ciabatta bread to start and the Mesclan salad. The bread was hot and delicious, the salad was flavorful and fresh and the ravioli was savory, yet bright. The portions were perfect. I also ordered an extra dirty martini and it was exquisite. Well balanced with a thin layer of ice on top from the chill, just how I like. My partner ordered a Negroni which he really enjoyed, the veal, which he thought was okay, and for his second drink, he got a mezcal Negroni which was so delicious. We finished absolutely everything. The ambiance was so cozy in the courtyard, where there are multiple tables around a large tree decorated with lights. There were also heat lamps which made sitting outside in a sleeveless dress completely comfortable. This restaurant is such a gem and I will always try to make it here when visiting San Diego.
Celebrated my husband's birthday Sat night. Their short rib canneloni, shrimp parparrdelli, bread service, salad and desserts affogato (we chose decaf) and tiramisu are second to none. Our waiter Pat and his assistants were very attentive. You cannot go wrong w/ this restaurant. Beautiful indoor & outdoor seating as well.

First time I have a negative experience in the 3 years I’ve been living in SD, I will say that because I’m Latina they were racist on how the hostess treated me and will never go back, and hope the hostess learns to be kind with everyone.
I made a reservation for Saturday October 18th for a party of 3 because of my sister’s birthday, since we came in, the hostess saw us different, I felt it, but thought I might be confused about it, didn’t mind and required my table outside. They wen't to check and told me to wait, as they will prepare this for us, considering only 2 tables where occupied It shouldn’t take that long. Well, another 2 white customers came in, and saw her attitude was completely different and passed them right away for a table. I felt awkward, and when she came back, I asked her if my table was ready, as she already passed 2 customers in front of us, well she told me she will check, but even inside, the restaurant was no more than 40% of the capacity.
Finally we got a table, but was with direct sun, I told her I didn’t wanted that one, instead if we could take the one behind where the shadow of the umbrella reached us, so with a bad attitude she told me she was going to ask, as this where reserved, but sounded like a joke as only 2 tables from 8 or more where occupied, I wanted to leave, but remembered it was my sisters day and wan't no drama. Finally, she told us to take the table we requested. Thankfully the waitress had a much better attitude, but still, I will never go back to this place.
Not bad, no complaints, not exquisite

Food is always great. I had requested Kate as my server however she was not there. Kate is wonderful. My server was Monica and it was the worst service I have ever had there.
Fantastic pasta and lasagna. Chill vibe. Great service. The cocktails were good, but I did not love the old fashioned.
Food as always was exceptional. Ivan, our waiter, was very accommodating moving us to The Patio, turning on a heater and making food suggestions. It was a lovely lunch in nature.
