On the day of my reservation, I contacted the restaurant to confirm my special birthday request. The staff assured me that they would have the special menus with the birthday person's name ready. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, they presented us with regular menus and informed us that they no longer offered special menus. This is a very good Italian restaurant with excellent traditional Italian dishes with very good service and very elegant yet simple decor.Service is very fast with excellent manners.Wine selection is good but it could be improved.Missing wines are high end Barolos-the must in Italian restaurant.

We had lunch and ordered Risoto and Pasta with seafood. They were both very good. Lots of salmon in the risotto. We have been dining at Piatti since the day it opened and will continue as it is so reliable.
