After trying so many taco shops in the area, we finally have a verified winner. Their pollo asada is incredibly delicious and juicy. We’ve been back and have never been disappointed by the quality and portion size to cost. The staff is always happy to serve, and don’t give you a hard time if you ask for modifications or extra salsa. Glad to have found our local gem!

This location has changed owners and went from a five star review to a 1 star review. They are commenting on all part reviews to refresh the reviews. Otherwise, why give a discount for 6 year review? This is due to the food being bland and overcooked. The owners are nice, but the food is horrible. The past owners now work out of Aztec Food Court by SDSU off of El Cajon. These new owners took their name and location but sadly, not their recipes. I'll try one more time but have also read reviews they pay customers to write a good review. I'll post another review shortly. For now, there are much better places to eat at. Unless you like bland, overcooked Mexican food.

I love this place for its carne asada tacos, especially when I add some of that creamy sauce on top, makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The service is great, I always feel like a valued customer. And the decor is grand, I like the authenticity.
Kid-friendliness: My mom used to always bring me here after football practice growing up as a kid. I remember that once I got onto varsity, she started letting me get two burritos instead of one. It was always the same thing, a carne asada burrito with a bean, rice, and cheese burrito.
