I don't understand the stellar reviews. Really bad falafels (burnt and oily), and the lamb dish was overcooked and dry. The baklava was not good either. Very ordinary food plus they charge an extra fee for credit card transactions. Really ???

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. We had the chicken kabob plate and a Greek Salad.

This defines authentic mediterranean food. Must try house made hummus, pita bread, baklava, shaskshuka. Has to be the best mediterranean food in SD. The sauces are amazing. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a quick vegan dinner and Pita 22 totally hit the spot! It’s a nicely designed counter service restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner options for all dietary needs including vegan and gluten-free. My husband and I received fast, excellent service.
Since it was our first visit we chose to share “Salad 22” which is a sampler of falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, tahini sauce, fried eggplant and house salad served with homemade pita. It’s all vegan by default - no changes needed - and every single item of the sampler was mouth-watering! It was plenty of food for the two of us, and we will definitely be back for this.
All of the items in the sampler are also available by the pound for catering, which is awesome.

At first blush the prices seem high, but you more than get your money’s worth. You also can’t go wrong, everything I’ve had here was great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful

We ordered the delicious platter and got a great sense of the variety of foods available. We especially enjoyed the feta fries and hummus dip.
Additionally, Jordan and Jessica were the stars of the show. They were incredibly helpful in helping us make an informed decision, provided us with prompt and courteous service, and thanked us for our business.
My friend Kamran and I shall come here nearly every Friday.
Vegetarian options: Many since it's a Mediterranean place.
Dietary restrictions: Halal and Vegan options.
