Closed a few months ago when target did some renovations
Fast enough & yummies
Great pizza!! Tried them several times for carry out and never a complaint. Pizza always hot and freshly baked taste. Great customer service. Online deals are great for this location....esp for carry out.
The pizza is good and it doesn't take that long. The tables and the place are somewhat dirty since it is more like ordering and taking away, so there is not as much supervision in the assigned area so that you can eat if you decide to stay.
They are still the best option in San Diego

I like the Pizza Hut Express and I think that their new televised commercials are awesome. I have had an interest in marketing, advertising and all the complexities concerning how commercials are made , as well as whom they cater to : The types of inividuals/audiences, e.g.,single men and or women ; couples, families with children, childrens of all ages, class structure, racial preferences, ( The word prejudice does not exist in my vocabulary ), political groups, domesticted animals that are included as pets and myrid other strategies that all types of businesses use to attract consumers to finalize parchases. I 'm definitely not the kind of guy who takes the time to walk into my kitchen to fix a quick snack, while the commercials are on. Pizza Hut Express is "Pizza Hut's new moniker and their answer to increasingly heavy competition from similar "chain store" types of pizza outlets such as Domino's, Papa John's (The latter was created when the two original owners of Domino's parted and went their separate ways. The owner who sold out, took his money and said that "he could make a better pizza," and thus PaPa John's was born...). Pizza Hut is now Pizza Hut Express, then there's Cece's and depending on whether you reside in Northern, Southern California or what other part of the USA you live in, there are a number of other pizza chain stores, as well as a number of smaller "start-ups" that claim to sell "organic pizzas." Why even 7-Eleven stores now sell single slices, as well as whole pizzas. "The future is wide open." Ahh. I borrowed that one from the late great, Tom Petty. Maybe, next time I have a craving for a cheap pizza, I should order one "from the Hut?" Heck, it's subliminal digestion at it's best, isn't it? You know? Like, uhh, Jabba the Hutt? He sure gave Luke, Princess Leia, Hans Solo, Lando C., C3PO and R2D2 a good run for their money! Or I might find myself in a state of pizza induced hypnosis-within my physician's office-muttering "it's the cheese, it's the cheese." What about trying "transcendental meditation?" Again, methinks that my Google Maps asked me to compare Pizza Hut with Starbucks and Starbucks get five stars. Their coffee is wonderful, as long as you don't get addicted to it ; it's loaded with sugar and other sweetners however, the caffeine is actually good for you. They have good hybiscus and other teas, as well as some tasty sandwitches and other slightly expensive treats. You can always add honey instead of sugar to your tea, to sweeten it up a tad and lastly they have an "organic artificial sweetner," if I got that one right? There's this on going theory that artificial sweeteners can cause cancer however, the poor rats that they used as test subjects, received dosages that were thousands of times more than a normal daily dose. Try and explain that theory to those who love diet coke, pepsi, 7-up and "The Dew?"
Does not serve any deals from the Pizza hut chain but instead sales a slice of pizza for $3.... wasted my time going there expecting to be able to buy a large pizza BUT INSTEAD GET OFFERED RIP OFFS.
