One of our favorite restaurants in SanDiego Down town . If your in the mood for water front dining and you you like Italian pizza or
Pasta , I highly recommend pizza nova. Pizza nova is located on the SanDiego marina just off harbor drive in Point Loma . The atmosphere is great, the views are spectacular and the prices are very fair .

My wife a daughter loved their meals. I did not. The meatballs were incredibly salty and the chopped salad was mediocre at best. A really good chopped salad is one of my favorite meals, this was not that. The fact that the hostess laughed at my wife for being cold and asking for them to turn down the AC, was kinda lame, but not as lame as the salad.

Great waterfront place with a lot of menu options. It worked great for our large group. Our server was also wonderful and put in a lot of effort to make it an enjoyable experience.

Busy Saturday night but they got us seated right away. Service was great. The Works pizza was great.

Easy booking; fast service; good food and really good value of the Wednesday wine offer. One of our party felt that the lasagna was drenched in too much sauce, whichaffected the taste.

Nova pizza was ok, expected more for being their signature pizza .

Had dinner reservations but were told not listed. The host/hostess was nonchalant. We decided to wait (about 20min) since we came from OC.
Aside from the reservation snafu, we enjoyed our meal. The server was excellent.

I normally don’t write reviews but I felt the need to today. I’m not a normal customer here but I do come often and every time I come it’s amazing, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I don’t know what happened today, the food was good but the server was not in tune with our table. To start off we waited 12-15 minutes just to be asked our drinks when others arrived after us, we then get our food and not once were we asked if we needed a refill or if anything else was needed. We were only asked once “how was everything” and that was after we had finished a part of our dishes. I understand that servers are busy but I just don’t understand why everyone else can be served properly but not us.
I also want to mention we came on September 1st, I unfortunately didn’t get the servers name but he was a middle aged man working lunch hour, he was AMAZING, I just had to give him recognition because my boyfriend nor I have ever had excellent service the way he gave it to us that day.

The French Dip bread is to hard and they don't provide enough Au jus. Wait staff was great as well as the butter rolls before your meal.

Very busy place but good and service is friendly. I recommend ordering ahead if wanting to go. It’s in a plaza for other restaurants so make sure to pay attention

Vegetarian options: You would have to stick with a salad and veggie pizza

Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair parking directly in front of restaurant

We were in San Diego one weekend with our 2 girl dogs and looking for a dog-friendly restaurant to have dinner at. Pizza Nova was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to take a chance on it. I’m glad we did, as their food is really good. The pepperoni white pizza was outstanding and the lasagna was so good that we took leftovers home and ate it for breakfast the next day. The calamari was also good; the sauces were both really good, I couldn’t decide which one I liked more. The hostess wasn’t very friendly, but our server definitely was. It was a very busy Saturday night when we dined here, so I appreciated the fact that our server still provided us with great service. One thing I want to point out is that they no longer have a dedicated doggy menu, but they were happy to make plain meatballs without the marinara sauce for our pups to share. Another positive thing is the location is amazing, as sitting outside gave us a nice view of the marina. I wish I lived in San Diego.
