Had dinner reservations but were told not listed. The host/hostess was nonchalant. We decided to wait (about 20min) since we came from OC.
Aside from the reservation snafu, we enjoyed our meal. The server was excellent.

I normally don’t write reviews but I felt the need to today. I’m not a normal customer here but I do come often and every time I come it’s amazing, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I don’t know what happened today, the food was good but the server was not in tune with our table. To start off we waited 12-15 minutes just to be asked our drinks when others arrived after us, we then get our food and not once were we asked if we needed a refill or if anything else was needed. We were only asked once “how was everything” and that was after we had finished a part of our dishes. I understand that servers are busy but I just don’t understand why everyone else can be served properly but not us.
I also want to mention we came on September 1st, I unfortunately didn’t get the servers name but he was a middle aged man working lunch hour, he was AMAZING, I just had to give him recognition because my boyfriend nor I have ever had excellent service the way he gave it to us that day.

The French Dip bread is to hard and they don't provide enough Au jus. Wait staff was great as well as the butter rolls before your meal.

Very busy place but good and service is friendly. I recommend ordering ahead if wanting to go. It’s in a plaza for other restaurants so make sure to pay attention
Vegetarian options: You would have to stick with a salad and veggie pizza
Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair parking directly in front of restaurant

We were in San Diego one weekend with our 2 girl dogs and looking for a dog-friendly restaurant to have dinner at. Pizza Nova was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to take a chance on it. I’m glad we did, as their food is really good. The pepperoni white pizza was outstanding and the lasagna was so good that we took leftovers home and ate it for breakfast the next day. The calamari was also good; the sauces were both really good, I couldn’t decide which one I liked more. The hostess wasn’t very friendly, but our server definitely was. It was a very busy Saturday night when we dined here, so I appreciated the fact that our server still provided us with great service. One thing I want to point out is that they no longer have a dedicated doggy menu, but they were happy to make plain meatballs without the marinara sauce for our pups to share. Another positive thing is the location is amazing, as sitting outside gave us a nice view of the marina. I wish I lived in San Diego.

Best Salad with Shrimp one of my favorite things, Lobster Bisque needs a bit more creme and splash of Sherry.
I get it often.

I just have to be honest. It's very obvious this restaurant doesn't service just anyone. Seems like you need to be a yacht member just to enjoy service and the food. I will never go back there again. I gave 3 stars because I got my pizza in a timely manner.

Great pizza by the water. Got into town early for a 2 day charter fishing trip. Quick meal before going out didn’t disappoint teenagers or adults. They were busy and told us since we had such a large group to order take out. We sat around the water fountain. The white sauce pizza everyone loved and the bbq chicken one too. Not sure the actual names but both great. It was a strong contender for dinner when we got in the next night but it was time for some Mexican food. Haha
Parking was a little rough but found something after a few minutes.
