Got the fish n’ chips - fish was delicious. Super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The coleslaw was also very good - I appreciated that it wasn’t super creamy. Unfortunately the fries weren’t great. They didn’t taste fresh and they weren’t hot. Other than that, good meal!

Quite the tasty place! Though it was pretty pricy, the fish tacos were so dam good! I had the macaroni salad and sea weed salad for a side and both were pretty great as well. The sea weed salad doesn't look appetizing but it will surprise you. Drinks were ok, not the best. Margarita was too salty and I tried a mule, it was tasty but kinda weak. Overall though, the place was good. I'd go back

My family and I just got back from a weeklong vacation in San Diego. There were only two restaurants we went two twice, and this one was our favorite. The good food and relaxed atmosphere just made us feel at home. We could’ve hung out there drinking beer and eating different fish tacos all night. We may live 2300 miles away, but that place is part of our home. Highest recommendation

being generous with 3 stars. leaning towards 2.5. significantly hit & miss. One meal was very enjoyable and one was distinctly poor bordering on awful. Unique menu style here where about 10 or 12 different types of fish are available in multiple cooking/preparation options. Grilled, sandwiches, tacos, salads, plates. Also fried fish and chips and different styles of seafood soups. The grilled fish is available with about 8 different marinades or seasonings. The side choices are pretty standard like fries, rings, salad, coleslaw, rice, etc. You pick a fish, a style, and a side on what they call the 1,2,3 Fish menu. You can also pick some unique items from the Fish Shop Favorites list. After pondering the menu options my wife and I went different directions with our choices. She went with items from the More Fish Dishes section-a crab cake, cup of clam chowder, and side of coleslaw. My choices were a grilled fish taco with halibut, the TKO taco-mahi, Fish Shop seasoning, cilantro sauce, and tropical salsa. And I have a thing for ceviche so I added a small cup of mahi ceviche with chips. Last item was an order of onion rings. The items my DW was served were the extreme miss’s here tonight. And she is not by any means a picky eater. Rarely even mentions issues. But her crabcake (made with snow crab I believe) had no flavor, seafood or other wise and was served luke warm. Her slaw was an unpleasant wilted mess not worth the added cost at all, and her chowder had minimal clams and tasted like a floury roux more than anything else. We also felt like our onion rings were over cooked and most likely fried in oil that should have been changed some time ago.It was a jarring contrast when I began to eat my menu selections. Both tacos had the option of corn or flour tortillas which I welcomed since flour is my preference but is available less often. The simple grilled halibut taco was delicious with cabbage, pico, mixed cheese, and cilantro sauce. Fish was piping hot and moist. The TKO taco’s mahi as well was grilled perfectly and the seasoning along with other toppings melded into a wonderful flavor profile. Totally enjoyed both of them. The ceviche was outstanding. The mahi was cured in lemon juice, providing a brightness and acidity to every bite but was perfect with the fish. And the additional ingredients, onions, peppers, and I believe cucumber still held their flavor alongside the fish. Served with warm chips, this was crazy good. And the portion for the price was outstanding. Very full and satisfied after finishing my meal. So, on our visit it seems the way to go for a good meal was stick more towards the fresh fish side of the offerings rather than the fried/soup/side options. Rare (at least for us) to find such a difference in satisfaction between two meals. Unfortunately this left us disappointed despite the dishes enjoyed.

Wonderful delicious chowder and ceviche. And of course the beer was cold and delightful. Perfect lunch spot on a beautiful day.

We got the Poke Bowl. It was out of this world. The service is fast, employees are friendly and the tables are bussed quickly.

I am very appreciative and give good reviews when it's due, but I cannot do that for this one. I ordered crab cakes and when I took a bite, it was so salty. I told the waiter about it and all he did was go to the cook to tell them. When he came back he said the cook did not put salt in it. Did not even offer to change my order so I just did not eat it and it was pricey, $13 for one salty crab cake. I won't go back there again.

Let's start out with food poisoning. I by no means expected it from such a well rated establishment. But being in food service myself, I know people get lazy and complacent about food safety. I spent a very unpleasant evening curled up in a ball, losing 24 hours of a 3 day vacation. Ugh. I'd also like to say that the Halibut teriyake I ordered was cooked so hard I could not cut through it with the plastic knife. For $25, I thought there might be more care to the 3"x2" piece of fish. I had recommended this place to a friend. I called them and told them not to go. Very very disappointed.

Best fish tacos we've ever had. My wife has been a fish taco enthusiast for years an these absolutely blew our minds. My first bite was such a mind blowing explosion of flavor and texture that I just said wow over and over for the next several minutes as I ate. I highly recommend arriving in the early evening before it gets busy.It was our first visit, and since it wasn't busy, the guy at the counter took the time to tell us about the seasonal off menu fresh halibut. We ordered the grilled halibut taco. Additionally, he recommended that we add both Fish Shop seasoning and garlic butter. The menu says to choose only one. Another amazing off menu hack. These are big tacos piled high with fillings. Bigger than the usual fish taco, the quality and amount of fish is worth the price. Tasty craft beers on tap and lots of TVs playing sports. Cool sports bar vibes with lots of patio seating.

Great place. Went here later on a Friday night. The tqco selection was good and my smoked salmon sandwich was also good. I give that sandwich 4/5 as it was a bit small.Beer selection was good. They had an even mix of cheap Bud-like, IPA and lager (one lager). Its nice to see a place that doesn't have 10 taps all serving IPA. Ill return here and try other things next time.Overall I had a pleasant experience.

The soup i ordered was very good. But the 6 Shrimp for $15 was burnt to a crisp...pure black. very unacceptable for the price

Have driven past this place many times and finally stopped in. Discovered they have extra parking in back, a huge bonus. Albacore sandwich was excellent and a good value besides, 394 beer was of course good. Warm and friendly people as well. Setting on a busy street corner actually is pretty fun. will repeat
