Great place. Everything was delicious. It was a great experience. New flavor profiles to explore. I had the salad sampler platter and everything was incredible. I also ordered the bread with cheese and egg. It was so rich that we couldn't finish it but we tried! Lovely experience.

Delicious home style Russian dishes. Go for the pierogi's, khachapuri, and golubtsi. Dmitri did a fantastic job taking care of our table quickly and recommending dishes.

The hostess was incredibly accommodating of our party as We were delayed due to Traffic. The staff are incredible and they were so kind to our party. Based on that service alone, this restaurant is genuinely incredible. whoever was working Host stand was a gem :)

The food was amazing. My family and I wanted to get some Russian food. We stumbled around this place and sure it was delicious! The beef stroganoff and the pilmenie were a hit! I should definitely recommend it.

We made reservations there were six of us we got a beautiful large table and water is coming these corked bottles very nice and cold we end up having beef stroganoff it was delicious the Turkish coffee was strong and great. We also tried a couple of Russian beers if you're looking for a new experience but yet stay comfortable and not wander too far out of your comfortability range pomegranate is a great restaurant if you're looking to try something new located in El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego California

The food here is okay.. the grilled chicken was a bit dry but overall bland and didn't feel like anything much different than American cuisine. The Khachapuri was pretty good, the borscht was very salty, and the lobio was somewhat forgettable.

While I'd give this place another chance as the service was pretty good but the struggle to find parking then to be underwhelmed kinda makes it a slim chance tbh.

The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it really enjoyable to see and taste. The flavors were perfect and truly satisfying. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The restaurant was quite busy, so at times it was a little hard to get the staff’s attention, but that’s completely understandable given how popular the place is.

I would call this restaurant Warsaw pact cuisine, since it has dishes from multiple x-Soviet and Eastern block countries: Ukrainian Borsh, Russian pelmeni, Polish Pierogi, and of course, a few Georgian items. Everything here delicious, from the khachapuri and khinkali, to the best cabbage rolls I’ve ever had. I’m from the Soviet Union and know this kind of food very well, and vouch for its authenticity. The ambience and wonderful food make this a unique experience. Get the Russian honey cake for dessert!

I used to come here every month and enjoy real Russian and Georgian food, but recently the food has changed. Olivie is not real Olivie and for $15 a plate you get a tiny portion, shashlik is not made properly, it is very thin slices and tasted like it was made on a frying pan. Please take a look at your kitchen one more time !! Hoping for improvements

Eddie was our waiter last night. Above and beyond is all I can say about the service. I am not very well experienced with Russian and Georgian food, but I am remedying that now. Too bad Pomegranate may have the set the bar a little too high.

Eddie made us feel at home and guided us through the menu. It was not just a great meal, Eddie made it an experience.
