Food is good. Service is good as well. The noise level is terrible. Couldn't hear the person next to me it was so loud.

Excellent food every time we visit. I always recommend the Oso Bucco and the Mushroom Soup. Good wine selection as well.

Dined here for the first time on valentines. My husband made a reservation in advance. We were surprised to show up and see a large line of people who mostly said they had reservations as well. As a past server I get that busy nights can get overwhelming at times but the disorganization of this place was honestly kind of ridiculous. The hostess was calling out "does anyone have a reservation for 2?" And then would take them to sit without verifying their reservation. Also I saw some tables receiving tulips and some not etc. Service was okay. Not bad but just ok. Complimentary bread was served room temp. I don't know if they make the bread or if it's brought in - but whoever makes it need to add more salt to their dough. It's very bland. I personally didn't care for the marinara and thought it would've been better served with butter. Cesar salad was mediocre. I wanted to try it because it said homemade dressing but I felt the dressing was very underwhelming and lacking flavor. The calamari fritti was okay. Some of the calamari were slightly over cooked and chewy. The marinara was too overpowering of a sauce for the calamari and zucchini. The portobello ravioli aka mushroom ravioli was good but under seasoned. The lasagna was good. My husband enjoyed it. Overall I felt the food was mostly under seasoned and kind of just ok. I personally didn't find it good enough to go back.

A favorite! I’ve been here many times. This time my friend and I ordered the specials on the menu, which were absolutely delicious!

Visited for a party - so unsure how the actual service would be as a diner. However, while there the service was great. The staff appear to be versed in Italian culture and language. Again, we were there for a birthday party and the staff sang happy birthday in Italian - which was a cool surprise. We had many of the dishes, and all were good. The best was the mushroom ravioli-definitely recommend this dish. The deserts were ok-the tiramisu was "normal". The lemoncello was fantastic. There is street parking around the area so that was a good surprise as it can get crowded at this restaurant.

Pomodoro? More like PomodorNO. This place's ~4.5 star rating is is bewildering to say the least. Service was generally bad but would have been willing to that go if the food was average to good. It was not. I got the linguine de mare and I don't think I've ever ate anything more bland in my life. It tasted like someone poured bath water over noodles then put some shrimp on it. My party got some tomato based sauces and it tasted like chef boyardee's worst nightmare. Anyway, this was a tiring experience and I wish this had just been a terrible nightmare.

Our first experience at Pomodoro will be our last. The dining room was freezing cold and cramped. We were the only people in the restaurant at 6:00pm ?. Server was not attentive at all. Few other couples showed up throughout our meal and the dining room and became very loud.As bad as that was our food was horrible. We ordered the artichokes as an appetizer and they were extremely overcooked and in pool of oil. I ordered the VITELLO PICCATA and it was a small portion of veal that was boiled in lemon and butter very chewy. It came along with a side of raw mixed vegetables. My girlfriend ordered the LINGUINE DI MARE with white wine sauce. This was inedible.. I wish I would have gone to the Italian restaurant next door

We scoured most of SD's Italian restaurants for my wedding rehearsal dinner, and I couldn't be happier with how the entire experience choosing this restaurant. The owner was very helpful and communicative during the entire process. The pricing was phenomenal for a large group 20-30 people and the food was amazing! The guests couldn't stop commenting how great the food was. I would definitely come back here for large group gatherings.
