Nice Taco Truck, really tasty!

Vegan birria tacos. Repeat. Vegan birria tacos.

This place is consistently delicious. I always get the asada either in a burrito, tacos, torta or mulita. I hope they continue to expand options. Their version of a vegan mulita is a two corn tortilla quesadilla with your choice of filling, I was surprised at how much I liked the melty vegan cheese inside, it was delicious. Their aguas de día are also so refreshing and not as packed with sugars as traditional aguas would be.

This place was in a Target parking lot next to a seafood truck. I ordered the asada burrito, which was very good, especially when I got down into the "meat." I would like to go again and try some tacos.

Didn’t know this place existed so when I saw a sign for vegan tacos on the side of this truck my jaw dropped! The entire menu is vegan and the person at the counter was very informative and friendly. I ordered the Ensenada, shrimp and birria tacos! They were all delicious and full of favor! The shrimp taco was my favorite; I though the texture was pretty similar to actual shrimp. The vegan spirits were looking out for me tonight!

This is a must-go spot if you’re ever in the area and have ever thought you knew what a taco should taste like

Went back twice in one day. First had the carne torta. Second- bought a little of everything for the entire family. Meat eaters enjoyed the food. Can't wait to go back.

We had the 'shrimp less' shrimp taco, the portabello and the standard with cilantro & onions. All we're fantastic!

Best bread I’ve eaten as a Vegan and sandwich was amazing.

These are exactly like, actually no, they are BETTER than other traditional street tacos in SD. I got the Marlin and Adobada, while the Marlin was good the Adobada was godly. Glad to see, we need more vegan places like this.

Owner is very kind and makes some great food. I had a torta which was excellent and Jamaica drink which was very tasty. He has tacos too. Definitely stop by for some lunch.

After a rigorous ride up the hills from downtown San Diego in 90+ degree heat on my one-speed folding bike, two tacos didn't quite fill me up, so I bought a third! The asada was my favorite followed by the adobada and the fish taco. I think $3-4 for a quality street-sized taco with all the fillings (and more you can self-add) is quite reasonable. And their lavender-lemon water hit the spot. It would also be nice to have a dessert item to complete the meal. [They now accept credit cards but charge a 45-cent fee, which is understandable since the transaction amounts for a meal can be quite low.] Updated from previous review on 2017-09-26

How delightful to stop at Target and see a vegan taco truck in the parking lot! We obvs had to get a few! I apprehensively chose the spicy, fried mushroom taco (I forget the actual name) because I always thought I didn't like mushroom but BOY was I wrong! My friends got 3 different kinds and everyone ate theirs so fast without sharing because they were that good! I will definitely be returning! Updated from previous review on 2017-09-19

I HIGHLY recommend these tacos. I had the "carne asada" and my husband had the same plus the "fish" taco. If you're visiting Balboa Park, it's not too far away in the Express Target parking lot. Sooooo good!
