I've tried most of the popeyes in southern san diego, and this one stands out as the one with the best tenders. Spicier, crispier, fresher, just better. It's my 4th time so they seem rather consistent. Service could be better, but it's better than the popeyes just a bit further east. In any case the tenders are GOOD.

It took 16 minutes to get my food in the drive through. The asked if he’s the only one working and he said the General Manager Zuli doesn’t want to give them hours and he’s the only one in the front. I get home and my food is incorrect.

How did I place my order over an hour before I came to pick it up? AND it was still not ready and had me wait an extra 30 minutes. This is ridiculous. This is supposed to be fast food and I placed my order online to not go through this for this exact reason. Only 3 people working in the building and it’s obviously busy, so the staffing is a problem. Please do better. This shouldn’t be an issue.

I was picking up food for someone and had to relay that the restaurant didn't have juice or milk. They had punch which was good but Daniela was patient with me and offered me a drink twice since I had to wait but I settled on the biscuit! She and the staff were friendly...but especially her! From what I could see looking around...the restaurant was spotless!????

Customer service at this location is horrendous. Also, every time I go, they never have spicy chicken and don't even offer to prepare spicy if you want to wait, and they also don't like to upgrade for substitutions, eventhough the customer will pay for upgrade. One time I ordered a 2-piece breast and wing and when I went to my car, I saw that I was given a breast and leg. When I went inside to tell them, the female working the restaurant insinuated I was trying to get free chicken. I told them I just wanted what I ordered and I paid for an upgrade. The service here is terrible from the manager to the cashier. Too bad because the restaurant itself is very nice.
