Breakfast items sold out by 1000am so unable to try. As for the coffee, sat in and the coffee was not served in a proper cup (paper takeaway) and the milk for the flat white was far too hot. It burnt my mouth which meant I was unable to appreciate the coffee.

When I came for the first time, the girl without glasses was super friendly and the coffee tasted great! And today I came again, the coffee tasted super strange and I didn't like it at all And the girl was super aggressive Girl who wears glasses and is short I couldn't even drink coffee and I asked her if you could give me a little bit of milk and she added milk to the point of overflowing. And then he told me that if you want more milk why didn't you order a normal latte... 🤷🏻♀️ I was speechless and the coffee tasted even more disgusting. Don't go to this place or if you want to go ask the girl at the cafe who doesn't have a 👓 and is pretty

This is one of those places that makes every order in sequence including specialty drinks and sandwiches ahead of black coffee / pastry orders at the expense of moving the line along: frustrating if you are just trying for a quick in/out with a simple order. Really good coffee and pastries though!

Atmosphere is amazing!!! You can see the ship museum from here. And not to mention the coffee is good. Nothing else really stuck out about the shop but it is very cute. Will come back again. When ordering make sure you are a little louder though we couldn’t hear the barista and it was pretty loud in the shop.

Really want to give this a higher review as the coffee is really great and it's a super cute shop. The barista with the buzz cut hair and beanie was extremely rude rolling her eyes at customers looking at the take out coffee assuming they missed their names. She made several comments under her breath that we could all hear. I am polite to all service workers and tried to thank her for my coffee to which she refused to answer or make eye contact with me as if I was beneath her. Again, great coffee and if you can deal with a rude interaction to start your morning then i'd say try this place.
the woman with brown long curly hair at the register was very sweet so I gave 2 stars for good coffee and clearly the other workers know how to be kind.
My wife loves their Lavender Latte, they use lavender buds instead of syrup. Its a great spot to enjoy a coffee and people watch.

We were so excited to try this place this morning. We walked in and were trying to figure out where the line began. Taking a moment to get the lay of the land. The woman behind the espresso machine told us to order from the register and then made a snarky comment about us getting out of the doorway. I think it was supposed to be under her breath but it was pretty loud. I don’t understand the rude comments especially when we have never been in before and aren’t quite sure. Wasn’t welcoming or nice. She had many piercings and was wearing a rolled up beanie cap. The coffee was bad to top it all off so we were pretty bummed. Oh well. There is no shortage of coffee shops in San Diego who have nice people and good espresso
