Walked in to the Prager Brothers off University. I was greeted by a not so very polite employee. Very snarky and passive aggressive. I finally asked if he was having a good day and he said he was sick and no one could take his shift hence the attitude. Personally, I don’t believe you should be taking your attitude and bad manners out on your paying customers. I put a call into the manager up in Carlsbad and have not heard back from them. This is the second time I’ve walked...

Prager Brothers is hands-down my favorite bakery in town! Every loaf and pastry feels like a labor of love. My go-to breads are the Olive Rosemary, French Baguette, Focaccia, and the Sea Salt Flatbread—each one packed with flavor and the perfect texture. And don’t even get me started on the sweet treats! The Fig Walnut Bar is one of my all-time favorites.
