This is a local landmark of family owned business that is so important of the community not only do they have the most delicious hotdogs as well as wonderful ice cream and refreshments but this is a San Diego staple they even have cigars so I couldn't believe it. My entire family comes here frequently. This is our headquarters when we have a big convention in town, I just love the customer service and the way they treat us, easy parking makes this the central place to begin your party, highly recommended and a member of the Better Business Bureau.

Great customer service but the hotdogs were very cold, so there is concern for food safety

Don’t take Amex, charge $1 for credit cards but don’t tell you till after they swipe the card. So I paid $10 for a cold hot dog… would not recommend.

Avoid at all costs!!! I was scammed by this place. I bought something that was priced $25. He told me it was $35 after tax (weird, makes no sense). Then he put my credit card down on top of the receipt trying to cover it while I signed on the line. I moved my card away because I knew what he was doing. He charged me $44!!! When I questioned him he said “it’s all right sweetie, have a good night” I left feeling so disgusted. I can’t believe that a business could be run this way. Complete scam and horrible people! I will be reporting this business.

Same people who also go by Hot Dogs @ 428. If you want sub Dollar Tree quality hot dogs at 5x the price of 7-11 and want to feel ripped off after you wake up from your hangover, because that's basically 90% of the customers here, drunk people, this is the spot.Avoid like the plague.

$10 for one scoop of ice scream. Need I say more. Avoid this place. Scammers! I think this was the first bad experience I have ever had in San Diego! Well, Looks like I'm not the only one that has been ripped off by these people!

Well let me tell you that this food was AMAZING 10/10 !! Hot dogs were juicy, hot and delicious. My boyfriend and I went at night after leaving a club it was packed with people so we decided to try it. Although it took a while the guy working was trying to get thru everyone as quick as possible. And we got our food in about 10 mins. Classic little hot dog shop that gives off a vintage vibe too it.

Yeah guy charged me this much because I opened for check out and then he lied to me said I will give you for 5$. When I checked him about it he attempted to upsale me for smokes and then said he would make it up to me next time. I told him I dont believe him and he said I do lol. I dnt think this is good business whatsoever

Do not come here AT ALL. If i could give zero stars i would. Mediocre food that you can get at 7-Eleven for half of what they charge. Ordered a hot dog, water, and sundae and the total was 32. They don’t list all the prices and make the excuse that having a price would take up too much room and don’t give you a receipt. This is an absolute scam of a place that over charges you for absolutely everything (since when is it okay to charge 17.40 for four scoops of THRIFTY ice cream). My friends and I thought we’d be spending little money and be proud for getting something cheap, boy were we TOTALLY wrong. I truly wish I never came here and I hate that i was ever one of their customers.

Avoid this place at all costs, doesn't list all his prices so he can charge what he pleases without being upfront. I ordered 2 slices of pizza, a hotdog and a water bottle. Somehow that added up to $36 and change. Not even at COACHELLA did I see ridiculous pricing like this. And for painfully mediocre food at that. When confronted the shop owner stammered and was surprised to see that I had caught him in the act. He claimed he was going to give me a refund but he avoided me and tended to his line. He was rude, arrogant, and worst of all he's implicating his poor wife who absolutely not be able to defend herself or him if someone decided to do something in response to his scam. I've already reached out to the Better Business Bureau and they are pursuing something against this dude and his scummy and dirty tactics to make a quick buck. And the funniest part, is that the guy has pics of Jesus Christ plastered everywhere. Suffice to say you won't be seeing him when you leave this earth buddy.TIL: This dude absolutely scammed me and my friends by overcharging us.

I got charged 13.50 for some mints just because I had to use the restroom. At first I didnt even know because she covered the receipt and she expected me to sign without looking at the total, I uncovered the receipt and told her why, and she said because of the bathroom. she also tried doing it to a couple when I got out of the restroom, the couple was arguing with her about the prices. This place needs to face some legal consequences

Food pricing is a bit high but that is fine for me as the food tasted delicious and customer service was amazing. The Subs were so tasty and the onions were heaven. The ice cream is even better. The hot dogs were perfectly cooked and very big. Loved it here.

I'm not broke by any means but $13.95 for a chamango is a rip off. No pricing on the menu besides the hotdogs for a reason. Tastes good but not worth $13.95.
