Prestons’ Ginger Beer

There’s no ginger beer like Preston’s. The quality is absolutely unmatched, he’s truly a master of his craft! They offer a variety of unique flavors, and every one of them is delicious. If you’re a fan of ginger, this is definitely a spot you’ll want to check out!!

We stumbled upon this place accidentally and even though we had never tried ginger beer before, we loved it! The owner was super knowledgable and very passionate about the ginger beer. We mentioned our favorite flavor was the kumquat ginger beer and he brought us over some of the freshly picked kumquat he uses for the brew. He also gave us some recommendations for local places around San Diego. The drinks were good, but the atmosphere and conversations with the owner made it great!

I was my first time and had wonderful experience. The drink, atmosphere, the owner's friendliness, etc., everything was flawless. I definitely recommend this place. Had great time at Prestons' Ginger Beer.

Place is great. We bought the six pack after sitting down and having a few glasses there and some sausage rolls. Highly recommend. Both the owner and the girl who worked up front were extremely friendly and walked us through the menu options very well. Thank you!

Really good non-alcoholic ginger beer! There was a surprising variety of flavors available. What was nice is some were spicier than others, so if you're into really spicy ginger you can get the original or matcha flavors, or for something more mild go for the POG for instance. They had some delicious meat pies available as well for a bite to eat. All their flavors are available to go on cans, the owner sealed some right in front of us. This was a really cool option in this complex, something delicious but not intoxicating.

Haven’t had a bad flavor yet, all of the flavors are perfectly balanced and not over powering. It’s just sweet enough, doesn’t taste like liquid sugar like some ginger beers do. I appreciate the subtleties.

Visited for the first time this Saturday for a new release. The vibe was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was so kind and hospitable. Regulars even made recommendations on what to get.
Don’t pass on the watermelon slushie with soft serve ice cream! Absolutely delicious and refreshing.

Love the idea of a taproom/hang out space focused on non-alcoholic options, and this place nails it. Will definitely be returning, just wish the product was a little more affordable to-go ?
