The chicken and fish tacos are great. They seem to not serve the veggie tacos any more which is a bummer.

I really love the food here. Salsa amazing. It’s usually empty AF, so service is easy. I go once or twice a week.

The women working the Rancho Bernardo counter at 5pm on 08/06/2024 was so rude. Messed up my order which is just a human error. Non issue. I hate returning food to the kitchen and do everything to avoid but the order was completely wrong. Just asking what I paid for. Then she starts talking sht about me to the other staff. Spanish is a more frequent language than she thinks. We’re in San Diego my friend! I heard all of that.

I will return but check out who’s running the front desk before entering.

I’m all for sacrificing “customer service” for nice food but don’t openly talk sht about me when you’re the one that messed up the order.

The Solana Beach employees are way friendlier. They remember every customer and are kind.

I have tried many Mexican restaurants and even food trucks, but I swear the quality of food at this Mexican food was very low and I had my worst Mexican food experience. I will never go back there, I ordered a torta, the meat was only a few small pieces, it was very little, the meat was obviously spoiled, and in this restaurant you will not only not feel the original taste of Mexican food, but you will hate eating Mexican food by going to this place. I feel sorry for managers who assume that people are stupid and uneducated

Never again.. they all are the same.. I asked for a classic monster with steak.. I got a bean burrito with kite steak like wth. Cmon I'm sure I'm not the only one. All of your location are skimping the customers out of meat..

I recently had the worst carne asada burrito. Instead of being mostly meat, it was filled with beans, cheese, and sour cream, with very little meat. I always ask for no pico, as I prefer a simple carne asada burrito, so I was surprised by the bean filling. It seems they added beans as a filler. I doubt I'll return to this restaurant, as not only did they provide something different from what I ordered, but it was also quite expensive. The "carne asada burrito" and a 20 oz Pepsi cost $19 plus tax. Here are some pictures of the filling; it's bean paste. If I had checked when I was in the restaurant, I would have left it there.

a slophouse masquerading as a mexican restaurant incompotent chefs couldnt cook a single breakfast in less than 20 mins and the chiliqiules were soggy, the eggs were over cooked . the meat was lazily placed on the side. Avoid this location they are hiring friends or family or people off the street because this was the worst meal ive ever had at a mexican restaurant.

Sadly not what it used to be. Been in Rancho Bernardo for a while and Primos was a convenient spot to pick up a breakfast burrito or something else. Since last year I've noticed prices have gone up and quality has gone down. A Jr. burrito used to be $8.50 back in 2021, now it's $12 base and only for a couple burritos on the menu.I usually get the Cali Surf and back then a monster Cali Surf was $15-$16. Now it's $20+. The tortilla is heavy as in very bread like and doesn't have flavor or absorb the flavors inside the burrito. The seasoning or flavors in the burrito just don't hit anymore. I had $11 breakfast burrito from a small place a bit north and it was way way better than what I've gotten here.If you get here after 10:30 AM, you may expext waits of 20 minutes or more. Longest I've had was 35+ minutes. The inside is nice but I never see it packed. It's not only the inflation on food ingredients, it's probably the rent on the building too.

Excellent taco shop option for the rancho bernardo area where mexican food can usually be pretty scarce to find.
