Primos Mexican Food & Cantina

Had lunch today at Primos and WOW! The Ahbundogas soup 🍜 is the best we’ve ever had. Four large meatballs that alone taste 👅 flavorful. come with rice and portion was great. even a little to take home for later. definitely coming back!

Poor service, the quality of the food is just bearable. I ordered my food in the counter. The cashier seems very ignorant about assisting me in my order as I am new to the place. Food was done pretty quick and five minutes, However, the person was in the back talking with his colleagues leading my food to stay in the counter for over 10 minutes, which I have personally counted with a timer. Resulting my fries To be extremely soggy by the time I get them since it was placed in a steel box, I cannot recommend this place to anyone as prices for burrito is 19 dollars, and it’s not even packaged properly as when I got them there’s a lot of exposed areas

This is the best Mexican place I’ve been to in a very long time. Giovanni the cashier has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced kind helpful had suggestions and answers every question we had and even asked if we had allergies to seafood before suggesting it! even helped us pick the cali burrito and it was so good he also asked how our food was offed salsa made sure we didn’t for get out drink thank you 10/10 place would recommend to anyone I would hire him on the spot!

I got the surf and turf taco which was almost 6 dollars after tax and this whole time i was thinking its going to be a regular size taco but when i got it it was a tiny FLOUR tortilla taco with barely any meat and 2 pieces of shrimp. The meat was hard and chewy and the shrimp had no flavor whatsoever. I also got a glass soda which cane to almost 10 dollars for a tiny taco and a drink. Definitely do not recommend way overpriced and an insult to tacos.

Once only once did I eat decent tacos here and the only thing that made me come.back hoping I'd get them again. I guess good cook that day. Food is horribly inconsistent. The beef is always dry. When u get street tacos tortillas either cold or there's too much guac overpowering the whole taco. Nobody makes here food the same way twice. Came here after a long work day to eat and got served worst tacos to date last time I make mistake eating here left wanting to throw up. Out of all san diego mexican spots this chain is bottom 10 percent. Save your money go to a real mexican spot not this bum generic chain.

Very nice place.

The truth is that the roast burrito is a folded tortilla. They need to add meat to it. They have the monster burrito but it comes out the same. They fill it with pure rice and beans. The truth is, look for another option. Raza want to eat a folded tortilla. Come here with your cousins.

Great find! Good place for Sunday-funday. Decent prices, good food, self-serve tortilla chips (amazing!) Will definitely go again.
