Lovely neighborhood spot! Very tasty breakfast burros, guava jam turnover, and the pour over brews.

We were in the area looking for a good coffee spot and we saw the great reviews on this place so we stopped in here to try it out. Wow, it was so so good! This is not your typical coffee shop. The flavor was amazing!! The staff was very friendly and efficient. It’s not a large place and it gets pretty busy but the staff handles it well. I highly recommend this place. Believe all the great reviews..this place is that good.

I come here multiple times a week and love the girlies but the bearded guys…..this is one of those places where if they aren’t attracted to you, they are rude and short with you. Coffee still slaps tho!

Simply good coffee and pastries. Nice outdoor patio to sip, sit and ponder the universe. Do yourself a favor and get the guava and cream cheese turnover.

If never visited, this place is not easy to notice from the outside. There are several different things inside since it is all one building. The way to best direct yourself is by an outside patio with tables they have and the entrance is on the side. Also the building number indicated on the top of the building. Upon entering this place, it seems spacious yet seems to get a bit crowded since the tables are close together and mostly fit two people. When I arrived, there was a small line and the guy who took my order was really chill. I did have to wait quite a bit for my drink for only having a couple people ahead of me. I ordered the sesame iced matcha. This was actually pretty creamy, little sweet, different type of taste to it in a good way - I very much enjoyed it. However, I do think it is a bit on the pricier side since the size is quite small for it being $7 and some change. They also did not put any sesame seeds on the top as illustrated in some of the pictures online. When they place your drink on the counter, you have to go to the side and put a lid on it. There, you will also find water.

I first tried Provecho coffees at the LA Coffee Fest and thought how delicious all of them were! I was impress about the Mexican ones. So during my first time in San Diego my husband and I decided to visit them. Is one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to! It's a cool place, spacious, has a patio, and the staff is friendly. It has a community feel that you can go to every day. I would love to have a Provecho in Los Angeles!
During our visit we tried Orange Dream Mocha and Cortado, delicious perfectly made, one of the best cortados we have ever tried!

I had an Americano, and it had a nutty, fresh aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans. At first, I felt a floral scent, but then the dark chocolate and sour taste stood out on the tip of my tongue. And as time goes by, the sourness becomes less and the aroma and dark, spicy taste that I like comes out. It's sweet,,,
Orange Latte? It smells like real orange candy. It wasn't my taste, but the steam was rich and smooth and the latte art was especially pretty.

For us, this was the best coffee in California! Simply heavenly. We spent a few days in San Diego and originally wanted to try out different cafes in the area. But after we had our first coffee there we went there every morning. There's no better way to start the day :-)
The ambience is simply great. You can sit inside or outside and you immediately feel comfortable there.
The team is very friendly and accommodating and you feel very welcome there.
Thank you, Gerardo!!! You made our stay there sweeter and we already miss you and your coffee. When we're back in San Diego we'll definitely stop by for coffee!

This is one of the best coffee shops in san diego hands down not only because their coffee beans are amazing but also because they are always so kind whenever I go in. I love the space as well. Lots of sitting options whether your alone or with a couple friends.
