Rude hostess. Poor quality Thanksgiving meal, inedible dessert. Servers constantly pouring tap water in our Pellegrino. Lack of attention and care the whole evening.

Very slow service. Cold coffee. And good but unseasoned food. This restaurant was left to us. We waited 20 min for a table that was empty since we arrived

My nieces came to visit from Boston and this was the perfect choice for brunch. The food was fresh and tasted great. The service was warm and first class. The restaurant is walking distance to the harbor, so we walked to the top of the convention center steps where my nieces enjoyed a great view of Coronado, North Island and Pt. Loma on a beautiful sunny day. Really a great morning to share with out of town friends/family.

First time visiting and the experience was outstanding. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Went to the bestie dinner- the food was sub par. Pizza tasted like Dominos . Pasta was mushy. The cocktail was good. Do not recommend this restaurant

Good breakfast, included with our stay at the Pendry. The birria wasn't traditional birria, but it was good. The chilaquiles were good, but it would have been better with two eggs or some meat. Very friendly staff.

Solid place for brunch. I had a Bloody Mary and a breakfast pizza both were good.

Really enjoyed dinner with my son while we were in town. He has food allergies and the menu is marked well and they made us feel comfortable handling our allergy requests. My 12 year old LOVED the Berry Crumble and asked me to leave this 5-star review!

This is a great brunch location in the heart of the gaslamp district. Reservations are highly recommended since it is always busy. The avacado toast was substantial in size, but it had too much acid. The eggs were poached perfectly though. The bacon was crispy and delicious and the eggs benedict was good. The service was just ok, the servers aren't always very attentive. It's very noisy inside though.

Avoid. Decided to get breakfast here as we were staying at The Pendry. Checked in to wait and sat down outside as the host said was okay. Told it would be about 20 mins not bad. As we sat outside Steven came up to us and then said we can't sit there. Never asked if we were waiting for a table, just you need to wait elsewhere. The mobile check in showed we were next, then saw several walk ups be seated right away, so asked how much longer hostess then sits us back at the table we were waiting at. Steven could have just grabbed us menus if this was going to be the case. Good customer service would have been to ask if we were waiting and what our name was if they were opening patio. They start with water and they processed to spill all over my menu and some in lap. Ordered the Chiliqualas as I enjoyed them last weekend at Gaslamp Breakfast Company and Rustic Root, it was terrible would not recommend. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict which he didn't finish it was so bad. Even with the hotel credit it was not worth it to eat here. For a 5 star hotel this restaurant is awful in service and food. Go elsewhere there are much better restaurants nearby!

Unfortunately very disappointed ... I usually do not leave reviews but this is worthy of letting others know .. First ambience vey nice .. waiter great and attentive . Wine ok Food . Not very good at all ..1 out of 4 dishes was decent the black squid pasta Filet mignon a slab of meat on a plate overcooked with nothing else not even a decent presentation, the fish special halibut also over cooked and the pasta con vongole—- well embarrassing did not even have one clam or mussel was so dry I had to ask for olive oil and there was dried tuna in it that tasted like it was washed out of a can . Seriously in a nice hotel and a tourist area expected more. the only reason we stayed is that our guests had a young one and were staying at the hotel for ease of convenience . But for a bill of $500 Will not come back here again and can NOT recommend.

Food was excellent! We had the chef's selection and truffle fries, both were amazing. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Amanda! Her warm welcome, genuine smile, and incredible hospitality elevated everything. She truly mastered the art of making guests feel special. A big thank you to the chef for the delicious food and to Amanda for making this such a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back!
