Food was pretty good, service not so much. Long gaps in table visits. Only saw server about 3 times. There was an 18% ($53+) tip already added to the bill, that was presumptive IMO. Probably wouldn't return and I don't live here so no biggie.

This was my second time dining here and it did not disappoint. The restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere, dimly lit but not dark. There is an extensive drink menu. The sangria is one of the best I've ever had. The appetizers and desserts are spectacular, and the portions are large enough to share. You must try the tiramisu. Everyone in my party had the rib eye steak which was outstanding. The service both times I was there was exceptional. We so appreciated our server, Sabastian. We felt attended to but not rushed despite the fact that it was New Year's Eve, so were able to linger and enjoy a leisurely dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The cute blue glasses make it hard for the staff to see when your water is empty and they don't check often enough. The service seemed slow even though they had very enough staff and it wasn't extremely busy for a Saturday night. The food wasn't so special......mostly pedestrian really. We were disappointed and as a side note, parking in Little Italy remains a nightmare.

We have eaten here regularly since they opened about 20 years ago, and we order the same empanada, salad, and skirt steak "Entrana" every time because it's so perfect! Puerto La Boca is a unique place for Little Italy in that it covers all the qualities we look for: :: Great steaks & other options :: Adorably kind team :: Fabulous value :: 2 easy walking blocks from the madness that L.I. has become :: Wines that actually fit the food (Argentinian wines & food) :: Comfortable seating - both the chairs & the space between tables :: Acceptable noise level even on the busiest nights :: Long-term staff (who have been so good that the owner willed them the restaurant when he passed away!) - be sure to meet owners/servers Roberta, Rodolfo, and Sebastian (who is also their artist!)

Great Argentinian steak place in Little Italy!! Great cuts of beef, nicely cooked to order, and at a great price. They have some pasta and seafood options too. Great wine selections. Highly recommend if you enjoy good food in a friendly atmosphere!!

I liked everything, the salad was generous for two people, the beef empanada was very good and the bife de chorizo was really good. I love their chimichurri and finished the night with a flan with dulce the leche.
