This is a cute smoothie shop. The smoothies are tasty. However, the workers are quite uninviting. It was almost inconvenient to place an order with one of the girls. She looked very annoyed to be working here. Just very dry and avoidant. If the owner reads this, please check in with your workers. See why they appear so unhappy working here. No one expects people to smile while they work but if you work in customer service business, it's part of the job to at least pretend you want to be there and to take a customer's order. The smoothies are amazing but the energy that takes up the space at Better Blendz is unwelcoming. San Diego is a beautiful place with such cute smoothie shops. This place has potential if the service issue is addressed sooner than later.

I love this place!! I come here all the time after my workouts, before work, or just to do work it's the perfect spot and they have a lot of great healthy choices! Definitely check it out and I recommend the funky monkey .

I was recommended by a friend to try out this place and it did not disappoint! I had a seasonal drink called the sweetheart smoothie and it was amazing! I've tried to recreate it at home to no avail. I have been able to go back since and try out their juices and Acai bowls which are just as great! Not to mention the interior is so cute and bright! Highly recommend this place!

Cute place, kind staff and high quality smoothies/juices. The green juice is dark green and tastes VERY green. Most places add a lot of cucumber or apple to cut cost however BB does not. Live in the area and wanted to have a smoothie place I could rely on. A lot of choices but the staff was really helpful giving me information on the different smoothies. Got the Açaí and I really enjoy it! Nice açaí and strawberry flavor with banana hints and chia seeds. Look forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Poor service. I came in with my two small kids, the blonde girl didn't even smile once. I noticed she walked out and handed the person before us his order, but she just set our order on the counter. Fruit didn't look so good either. Won't return.

Came in for the first time and tried their PBJ smoothie. If you like PBJ sandwiches, you will love the PBJ smoothie. Looking forward to trying their other smoothies!

I've been trying to replace coffee with juices. It use to be a different juice company but I think it has a new owner so it's Better Blendz now. Today I wanted to try the Can't Beet it, it has beet, carrot, orange and spinach. But I replaced my spinach with celery instead. It's pretty sweet and I like it, it's not over the top in sweetness either. You should pay cash because cards will charge a 3%. The price for the drink was 10.28 for a 24 oz which isn't too bad. Service was quick and easy. The shop has a couple of seats to seat if you do want to relax a bit.
