We visited from Scotland and stayed in the apparent complex across Market St. This was our local and we had some great nights with the regulars. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and patrons. If you're visiting this area give it a visit Morag, Tommy and Craig
Great drinks and food. Nice event venue.
Love the venue. It has a great atmosphere and vibe. Some seating and plenty of room to dance. Nice lighting and clean bathrooms.
Food was disappointing though. I'm not sure what the chicken tenders were made out of, but it was weird pressed stuff. The bacon wrapped hot dog wasn't wrapped in crispy bacon but had some soggy, fatty bacon thrown on top. The mole Verde nachos were decent, though it wasn't mole.
What the food lacked was made up for by drinks. Well crafted cocktails and a nice beer and cider selection
Awesome outdoor venue with talented performers from all over the world, venue is intimate and low key
Good concert venue. Good drink selections. Limited food selection. If you can, bring a lawn chair.
Fun concert, great food and booze options
Always a good time at the quartyard
Great venue but just so people know, the tip screen times out after 15 seconds at the bar and auto grats you 20%. I find this extremely shady and not a business I'm going to support because of that. There are much better venues in the area. Music Box is always #1.
It be so Nice
5 stars for the prickly pear margarita ! Refreshing and not too sweet with a rim

Great spot for shows, music, and dancing!
I really do want to like this place but the lack of seating, long bar line and being open to the elements makes me second guess going to events here. The mango mule and strawberry field cocktail were way too sweet and needed to be watered down to be drinkable.
I attended an event at this venue for the first time in downtown San Diego to see Sina Bathaei, and it was unlike what I expected. The open area features some benches for seating and a food and drink truck on site, creating a unique atmosphere. The venue also has restrooms available. However, parking can be challenging in downtown San Diego. Despite this, I would definitely return for another event at this Yard.
Nice little venue. Had a blast dancing salsa and enjoyed a few drinks. The food was good as well. Wish we had a little venue like this where we live.
Great little outdoor venue and im grateful to have it in our city. The space is well utilized and the security is respectful and helpful. Last time I was there, I shared a concern about a man in the crowd potentially being unsafe to women. His behavior wasnt specifically illegal/aggressive, but seemed potentially threatening and certainly nonconsensual to the women nearby. Security heard my concern, notified the event runners, and communicated with the individual in question to keep their behavior in check. They also updated me later and told me to let them know if he tried any weirdness again and I didnt see any other issues through the night.
Ive been to events where i literally had to fight off a would be kidnapper from taking a random girl, and security basically laughed off the situation. The response the team at qourtyard displayed has earned my respect and appreciation.
Stoked to be back for a future show
