This place is no longer in business. I did not try the food?

Best fish taco I’ve ever had! Wish I’d remembered to take a photo! Couldn’t beat the price either!

Want a great dinner at a reasonable price, excellent beer and a view of a lifetime? Go to Mike Hess Brewing in Seaport Village and sit upstairs on the deck. We watched the sunset from here twice during our visit to San Diego. The fish tacos were ~$4 each. 2 quesadillas were $4.50. Guac and chips $6.25. All perfect for sharing - or not! People watching was fun as you look over the boardwalk - lots of characters in the crowds.

Nice quick bite taco spot located right on the water. Place is kinda of hard to find since it's located right in with the beer garden. The ceviche didn't have much flavor but the seafood seemed fresh. The taco was very tasteful though.

Outstanding, memorable tacos in the land of taco shops. The Oso Buco taco was my favorite, but I didn't have one that I didn't love, and the Mike Hess beer made for a perfect combo.

Cool spot along the water but I was less than impressed with the food. The birria quesadilla was okay. Spicy shrimp taco okay, though might be generous simply in comparison scallop taco. Scallop taco was probably one of the worst tacos I’ve ever had - teeny tiny scallops with more sauce than scallop. The sauce thankfully had good flavor but it was more a gravy boat than a taco.

What just happened? We don't know but it's the first time that tacos have changed lives. I had an Ossubucco taco and a Spicy Shrimp taco. These things were loaded with flavor and trimmings and kept together with what seemed like maybe a lightly fried tortilla. I don't know. Just life changing.

Stopped by for a quick bite as hubby wanted their micro brewed beer. And I opted for some tacos. Note there is a downstairs which is right off the pedestrian seaport pathway, which gets so crowded and there is an upstairs which is accessible from the back of the building, which had no lines and open tables! So glad we found the upstairs! Hubby got their brewed beer and I got a non-alcoholic beer. And we opted for a fish taco, shrimp taco and a mahi mahi cooked ceviche. All were so fresh and delicious! Why can't we get tacos this good in nyc?

I ate here three times while in town for TwitchCon 2022 (that's a stretch, it's what brought me to town but I didn't actually attend)! I was staying at the hotel nearby, and saw some rave reviews about this place. The signage wasn't super obvious to me, so I ended up dining upstairs twice before I realized downstairs has the same menu! I LOVED the fish taco, they have some great veggie options, and overall it's super affordable for solid tacos with a waterfront view. This spot is super casual, pretty fast, and I would highly recommend this as a quick snack or a full on meal!

One of the best hangout places in the area. Loved the vegetarian tacos especially the zucchini and avocado.

Pretty solid spot with a great view of the bay. I ordered bacon shrimp tacos that were pretty tasty. It wasn't loaded enough to get me full but was pretty good. The cashier was kind and explained what I was ordering and told me about the shop. I'd recommend it for a cheap bite in the area, where other shops can get pretty pricey. Doesn't get too busy either.

Located at the brewery, no signage available. These tacos were amazing. Creative, tasty and filling. You really only need two or three to be full. Fish taco wasnt nything special. The carnitas and quesaburia were the best. Really good beer as well. Went twice in my one week there. If staying near the Hyatt, it's the near choice for quick, cheap, great food. Great view upstairs too.
