We absolutely loved the experience, but have just one piece of feedback: the noise level was OFF THE CHARTS. For a small space with hard surfaces throughout, and with the number of tables that are squeezed in there, the music should be WAY lower. We were just a party of 4 but we absolutely could NOT hear each other. Management should monitor this better, but otherwise, the experience was off the charts. Although very pricey, the food is amazing and the service is bar none.
This restaurant has such ambience! All lit by oil lamps. The food is very creative, on the smaller side portion-wise, and expensive. I think it is worth it! I have been there three times, all for lunch, and loved it every time. Plus walking over to the coffee bar afterwards and checking out the amazing scenery in the hotel, makes for a perfect outing. Parking in the neighborhood during the day is very possible. Try the flan to share- it is to die for!
Everything was beyond AMAZING! It was a bit crowded so maybe putting a cap on people around bar to enhance the diner's experience would be helpful. This is the one of the BEST dinners I've had in a San Diego restaurant. Loved it and will be back during a less busy time but for sure will return. Food is DIVINE! Compliments to the chef on the grilled fish plate!
