So glad that this boba place has opened up since it's along my daily commute! I tried a milk tea with egg pudding and a lemon honey tea. Both were so good!! You can tell the ingredients are good quality and they do such a good job (and give you so much!) with the egg pudding. Delicious!! Can't wait to come back and try some other drinks!

Get the Thai Tea! It's very light with a subtle sweetness. Super good! This place has a cool vibe too. Make sure to checkout their outdoor area. It's got asian decor with bamboo, trickling waterfalls, etc. Super relaxing! Next time I'm in East Hollywood area, I'm definitely coming back here!

One of my favorite boba places in San Diego. I went months ago and finally remembered to finish a review. As of today, I believe it is temporarily closed per Google. They have several matcha drinks that I enjoy!

I really enjoy R&B tea and I'm really hoping that the fire next door doesn't affect the business of this boba shop. Ironically enough, the only photo I have in this place is of a Taro Stormy because a friend really wanted the stormy but I personally really enjoy their jasmine green milk tea and fruit tea instead! Their jasmine green milk tea is solid and milky, but I typically ask for less creamer so that I get more tea taste. They run on the side of sweet so I always felt like 75% sweet was like 100% sweet. I am a 25%-50% kind of person so I usually get 25% and if the cashier is nice that day they let me get 15%... it really does make a difference. The stormy is pretty fun if you want a non-caffeinated option but it's more slushy than I would like. They typically have pretty consistent boba as well so I don't ever have to wonder if I'm getting something good or bad. PARKING SUCKS. so bad.. spots are tight and few... sometimes there's some street parking but not many. if you want to exit the lot it also sucks too. don't come here if you're not an experienced driver/parker.

If you want to find a good dupe for omomo, come to R&B tea in SD!! They are known for their stormies--blended icy drinks. My friends and I got Matcha Stormy, mango stormy, and taro stormy. Matcha stormy-- 10/10 the blended ice is absolutely heavenly and the drink itself melts in your mouth in a swirl of light matcha and milky flavors mango stormy-- 10/10 I think this drink is perfect to quench your thirst on a hot summer day. It's fruity and refreshing, it contains mini mango chunks as well Taro stormy -- 9/10 really good but I'm just a bit pickier about my taro drinks , the flavor is slightly artificial and you can tell there is artificial coloring and flavor because of the bright lavender color Overall 5 stars!! Really recommend

The interior is really new and modern and I would say is an option to stop by after a meal on Convoy, but I would never go out of my way to get boba here. After scoping it out, I would also say that this location is not great for studying as there are no outlets along any of the tables; the only ones I could locate were on the corners of the bar seating up against the window. Classic Milk Tea w/ Boba (2/5): I have no idea if this shop is just more sweet than usual, but I ordered a 50% sweet and the drink I received I swear was even sweeter than 100% at Kung Fu Tea. Might just be a fluke, but I could not finish more than a fifth of my drink on account of it tasting like straight jolly ranchers. I think the texture of the boba was quite nice, but it was fully overshadowed by the overwhelming amount of sugar in the cup. Hawaiian Fruit Black Tea (4/5): I am not typically a huge fan of fruity teas, but theirs is quite solid. The black tea flavor really came through without being overpowered by the fresh fruit flavors, which is from actual slices and chunks of real fruit floating in the cup. Be warned though, when they say extra large, they mean it. Those cups are FAT to the point that they won't fit in the cupholders in your car.

This one star is for their service. Been to this location multiple times and every time their servive was fast and professional except today. It wasn't busy at all and there was only 1 order before me but I had to wait 20 mins for it while employees were busy chatting with their friends stoppping by. And also, they made drinks for their friends first, which was 3 orders after me!!! RnB, please train your staff better!

I got the honey green tea from here and it was yummy! I also got two other drinks in my photo for my friends and they liked them too! The parking lot can be a little small but I didn't have trouble getting a spot. They have a good amount of seating inside as well!

First time at this place. There was a bit of a line but it was moving quickly. Finally our turn to order, and the guy greeted us with a warm smile and was very polite. He gave me some recommendations and was great. I asked him what his name was and he replied, "Cameron". The place was very clean and well kept. I had the stormy Taro boba tea with 75% sugar. (Imo was def sweet enough). It was so good, I ordered another one. This time I ordered a honeydew with lychee jelly. That was good too. Lol.I will be back again because of the great service and great drinks!

PRO-TIP: If you check-in on Yelp, you can get 1 free topping (tho the server forgot mine...). I ordered a large chocolate oreo milk tea with tiramisu cream and boba. I didn't get the boba and my drink was not a large...At that point the line was already out the door, so I didn't want to waste anymore time than what I had already. Overall, just tastes like a cookies and cream drink with some slight tea after taste. Not bad. There are more of these chains opening up closer to me and they are open pretty late in comparison to other cafes, so maybe I'll have more luck there.

The Chula Vista location is wayyyy better than this one. The drinks taste more refreshing over there and the selection is better in Chula, like they have dragon fruit green tea at the CV location and not here and it sucks. The cashier here was nice and answered all my questions. I ordered a passion fruit green tea without aloe but it STILL had small chunks of aloe in it. And man I freakin hate aloe so much, but I had already left and was not gonna go back to get it fixed. Also this place doesn't have wifi, like wtf!? I've never been to a boba shop without wifi. This place sucks for that. It would be a good study spot if they actually had wifi.

Newer place but great service and the boba is done perfectly - no chalky ones like some places I’ve been in the past.
