Vinarius Wine Bar & Restaurant

Wonderful dining experience. Staff was amazing. Food was excellent. Very nice ambience. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I live in downtown San Diego and walked over to Vinarius for dinner. The food was wonderful and the service was absolutely top notch. We would highly recommend Vinarius.

Very rarely do I give a 5 start rating ... but here is a place that had just great vibes, awesome service and food that tasted like it was home-made. . . . and that it really deserves FIVE STARS.

An absolutely amazing dining experience from start to finish ...the food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. The setting is warm and intimate, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. Every dish was hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The standouts for me were the crisp, refreshing salad (I can't recall the name, but it had greens, tomatoes, olives, peppers, and croutons) and the perfectly cooked calamari and shrimp appetizer ...simply outstanding. I savored every bite and will definitely be back before I leave San Diego. In fact, I'm about to make another reservation right now for today! Side note: I have beautiful photos but for some reason, I couldn't add - my technical limitation. :-)

Food was not good! I don't know how this place got the rating it did. Smelled in the restaurant like burnt food, Nothing about this place was good! Will not be back!

So many choices for Italian food in Little Italy and decided to try Vinarius. Everything about this place was perfect. I had what was maybe the best Ossobuco Lamb I've ever had and my wife had the special which was Seabass which she absolutely loved and our waiter Fabio was also great. Definitely will make a return trip to this restaurant.

We absolutely loved Vinarius! We are only in Sand Diego a few days and have eaten there twice! Beautiful restaurant, warm and inviting atmosphere and the staff and owner really care about you during dinner time. They take the time to check in. An overall atmosphere of warmth, sincerity, and incredible food!

This is one of our go to places! Food, service, drinks, always wonderful. Not much more to say. Oh and dog, friendly!

Are hostesses was extremel personable, waiter new the menu well, and the food was outstanding

We had a wonderful meal and perfectly paired wine at Vinarius to celebrate our daughter's graduation. The staff was extremely helpful and engaging, and the recommendations on both the food and the wine were spot on! We can't wait to come back, as it was one of the best meals we've had in San Diego!

My first trip to Little Italy and it did not disappoint! The food was AMAZING and the service was first-rate. I definitely recommend Vinarius and will revisit when staying in the area.

Ordered Margherita pizza, spinach and ricotta ravioli and pistachio cake: Best dish was the ravioli - mushroom pesto sauce went well with the spinach and ricotta ravioli. Oregano flavor on pizza was overwhelming. Pistachio cake was too sweet.

EVERYTHING about this restaurant is wonderful. The food, the service, the hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner, and the staff made it feel very special. It was our first time here, but it won't be our last. Wish I could give it an extra star... it was THAT GREAT.

The happy hour appetizer board plus 2 drinks can't be beat. 4 of us split one. I had the sea bass which without a doubt was the best I've ever had. Our guests split a fettuccine which they said was delicious. The service was superb Can't wait to go back there.
