Vinarius Wine Bar & Restaurant

We love this quaint neighborhood Italian restaurant! The wine and food are both excellent! It is a very small restaurant at the start of Little Italy. A little slice of heaven! I would recommend the Seabass and the seafood ravioli!

Everything we ordered was amazing but the artichoke was the best thing! Everyone is very friendly.

Amazing! If you are ever in Little Italy San Diego make sure to give this restaurant a try. The artichoke antipasti is excellente! Having grown up with Italian heritage, I tend to judge a good Italian restaurant based on their red sauce- the veal ragu paparadelle pasta did not disappoint! Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Great wine selection and complementary limoncello shots to end the meal was a treat. Will definitely be back next time we are in San Diego! Grazie Vinarius!!

Great food and service. Not touristy, which we loved. Definitely a local favorite, which was obvious as we watched regulars get greeted by employees and other patrons. Highly recommend

Vinarious is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a special dining experience. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they genuinely care about making every guest feel welcome. The food is fabulous!!

I love this place and have been here a few times. The people are very nice and the food is excellent. They also have a great wine selection. Paula our server was absolutely lovely and she did a great job.

Highly recommend this spot. We arrived without reservation at 7pm on a Friday and the owner worked to make us a spot at the bar moving people around. The food was very good, the staff were warm and attentive. It was an authentic experience.

I tried Vinarius Wine bar & Restaurant on a recent trip to San Diego and was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service received and the taste of the food.

Everything was truly a gourmet meal. We were all so happy with our meal that we began passing plates from person to person so everyone could taste each other's meal. Everything I tried was a 10 out of 10!!!

The Lamb Osso Bucco is by far the stand out of the night as the meat was very tender, juicy and fell off the bone with phenomenal flavoring.

All the desserts we tried were amazing. Again, the plates went around the table. LOL

I am looking forward to my next visit.

Happened upon this place. Small intimate with a great staff and friendly clientele. Great wine list and a nice food selection. Prices a bit high but portions are huge. I
Am Sicilian from NY and loved the food. Most staff are from Rome and owner from Sicily. Not a “tourist” Little Italy place. If I lived in SD, I would be a regular.
