Good food and portions. Plenty of parking and fast service. We got the ramen and karage curry both were yum!

Walked in at happy hour, no one in the restaurant except staff on their phones. Never greeted, stood for a couple minutes and then left.

Stopped in for a quick dinner with my sister and all the kids! Service was slow, atmosphere was cuteish.... Cinder block walls with nice wood beams that are draped in greens
Food was not my fav.... We both had ramen and they were out of the meat that it was supposed to be served with. We opted for pork chashu and it was lacking. I admit that I am a Tajima lover and may have been comparing.... just did not have the flavor profile! I would not return on my own will.

The people were very nice, but the broth left a very strong taste in my mouth.

Don’t order the black sesame thing. All you’ll taste is burnt charcoal in your mouth for hours. More a noodle soup than a ramen.

Why go to Convoy and wait for hours when there's an alternative? Mira Mesa's RAKIRAKI won't disappoint. Not too crowded, and almost zero wait if you come in at the right time.

The 27 Curry Ramen is amazing. 4 out of 6 of us at dinner ordered it, and everyone loved it. I have no garlic chips and add spicy oil to it to give it even more flavor. I come to Raki Raki as much as I can as I'm never disappointed in my meal. A few locations make it convenient to visit. There's the one on Clairmont Mesa Blvd, on in Rancho Penasquitos and one in Mira Mesa. If you visit the on in PQ, be warned that they have limited seating.

Okay so I love the other location on convoy. This one is a lot easier to get seated and to park, but the ramen is notably worse here. Portion is smaller, pork is less fatty, and the bean sprouts don't have the little bean head.
It's still good but know there's a trade off. Service is good and the space is clean and comfortable.

What we ordered:
• ikageso karaage (fried squid)
• takoyaki
• all star ramen
• ox tail tsukemen
• milk tea
• strawberry ramune
We normally get the chicken karaage but this time went with the squid and it was sooo good and fried perfectly!
Dipping noodles are always a fun, and I don’t know of many places that have tsukemen so we always have to get it here. They have a braised oxtail version that was very flavorful with the tender oxtail falling off the bone!
The All-Star Ramen was definitely my favorite. This Ramen has fire-flamed underbelly and comes with kurobuta spare ribs and jumbo crispy gyoza. The tonkatsu broth was amazing and enhanced with black garlic and red chili oil 🤤 it was a big portion and I definitely had leftovers for the next day!
Food was DELICIOUS!!! They had excellent customer service and I just can’t wait to go back!!!!

I ordered gyoza, it was terrible!!!! TERRIBLE!!! It was doughy. And I have never ever, seen someone put corn in it. Overall, it was disgusting 🤮. Waste of 13.95!

For anyone who thinks ramen is something that costs about a dollar and comes in a foil package or Styrofoam cup, have your eyes opened! Rakiraki is one of the best ramen spots I have been to, and there is no shortage of ramen restaurants if you are exploring Convoy. With ramen, it is all about the broth, and they know how to do their broths! But not only that, the noodles were cooked to perfection, and all the toppings couldn't be better. For those not quite feeling ramen (not sure what you're doing here if that's the case, but hypothetically) there is a very big section of the menu for alternatives, especially rice bowls and Korean food. The service was great, the food was great, and it's got a great ambience that's right in that middle place: not super casual with fluorescents and linoleum flooring, but you also don't have to dress up (though if you did, you wouldn't stick out). What more could you ask for? Oh, prices! The pricing here is quite reasonable given what you get and how prices everywhere are going straight up. Portions were big enough we asked for a few boxes, too. All in all, if someone asked me for a recommendation for a ramen restaurant, Rakiraki is currently my first choice.
Vegetarian options: With so much of the menu being broth-based, I'm not sure how easy it would be for a vegetarian -- let alone a vegan -- to eat here, but I wasn't looking specifically from that aspect so couldn't say for sure.
Parking: Parking is always a nightmare in this area. Just be patient and expect to circle the parking lot more than a few times.
Kid-friendliness: No problem bringing the kiddos
Wheelchair accessibility: No issues maneuvering a wheelchair
