It kind of tasted gross. Sorry. Too salty and garlic is too overpowering. Chashu smelled bad.

We just discovered this place and we loved it! I had the kimchee ramen and it was delicious! My boyfriend had the oxtail ramen and that was a loooot of food but also very tasty! Service was great too!

Did not know this location was here but they said they'd been here for a while! We walked in on a Sunday evening and were seated right away, it was not busy at all.

For appetizers we ordered jumbo crispy gyoza and Chicken Karaage. And for ramen I got the shabu shabu ramen and my friend got the chicken ramen. The gyoza was pretty good; nothing special honestly and there is better more flavorful gyoza out there but this is the standard for them at all their restaurants so the lack of flavor didn't phase me. The chicken karaage was a bit over fried and cut along the chicken grain so it was hard to bite into. The shabu shabu ramen was good but usually at the other location, it’s actually shabu shabu.. raw meat thrown in the hot breath to cook, here, they torched the top of it which made the meat touch because it was sliced so thin.. that was a bummer.. my friend said the chicken ramen was good. The noodle quality is A+ though, it is authentic Japanese ramen noodles they really have that down to a science!

Overall good food. Not great food though. But the best ramen you’re going to get in the area for sure. Also this location is pretty small inside but decorated very neatly and welcoming when you walk in.

Delicious! Ordered takoyaki, karaage, Raki all star ramen, and tonkatsu curry. Plus a strawberry ramune. The All Star ramen was my favorite and will probably be my go-to dish now!

Everything on the menu is delicious! This is the perfect spot for my husband and I when we're wanting some ramen. The Vegetarian Miso Ramen is so yummy, and my husband said the Akaska K-Town Kimchee Ramen was super flavorful and good! The staff was also very nice and attentive.

We will definitely be visiting again soon :)

They add fraudulent tip on your bill that's twice as much as the food I ordered. Absolutely shady ridiculous scam.

We went to this place for an early dinner and ordered the Raki all-star ramen and Kurobuta ramen, adding spicy miso to suit my taste. The portions were generous, and we couldn't finish them. There was only one server on duty, and we had to wait occasionally for napkins and chili oil.

Parking: There are plenty of parking lots.

Declining quality is unacceptable for the premium they’re commanding.

We ordered spicy tonkatsu ramen and a signature shoyu and chicken katsu don. Both of our ramen orders came with very dried-out thin slices of kurabuto pork belly. They were not fresh and moist as one would expect of pork belly. They were thin yet firm in texture and a few steps away from jerky. This is simply inexcusable when you’re paying $25 for a medium bowl of ramen. I don’t know what the deal is, but the meat texture was clearly well past its prime and hardly enjoyable. It ruined the bowls of ramen. Also the signature shoyu was too salty I had to add a half cup of hot water to dilute it. Also one of the bowls I paid extra for “dipping” noodles however they were identical to the other bowl so what was that extra charge for if it was the same darn noodles? I’m beginning to thing they’re trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

Anyway I’ve eaten here at least a dozen times and have noticed a steady decline in quality.

The only reason I actually kept coming back was because my company was footing the bill. Otherwise this place is way overpriced for this quality of dishes.

Given the lack of selection in my area, I have hopes they take my criticism constructively and do better to consistently deliver the level of quality customers expect at such prices. Because for tonight’s meal, I’m feeling pretty ripped off.

Probably some of the best food and service we've had so far this year. Ramen was fantastic, hot and delicious. Jumbo gyoza was stuffed to perfection and their drinks are great! Attentive staff and small location, well lit and decorated. We were very happy.

I love local small businesses and try to help them. So I feel really bad when I leave a 1-star review. The food was Unbearably Salty. I ordered chicken teriyaki Don. Nothing fancy, just chicken over rice like an authentic Japanese home dish. When served my kids who were so hungry, grabbed the chicken pieces and put it in the mouth. The face changed and they almost spat. One of them mouthed "Salt itself!"
Make it short, I didn't touch the rice either as.it has so much sauce on it. Way too salty. I took chicken pieces to go, made a fried rice with it with 3 bowls of rice and whole one chopped onion. Didn't add any salt or seasoning but it was eatible. One of the ramens were spicy one. We eat kimchi everyday and can eat pretty much anything spicy but the soup was way way too spicy. Imo you could get much better dishes either the Thai place or Shushi Hana in the same mall.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Raki Raki Rancho Penasquitos is a hidden gem! Their Chicken Karrage is crispy and flavorful, a perfect blend of seasonings that leave you craving for more. The Vegetarian Miso Ramen is a comforting bowl of rich broth filled with fresh vegetables and chewy noodles, a delightful combination that warms the soul. And the Vegetarian Fried Gyoza is a crispy yet tender treat, packed with savory goodness that complements any meal perfectly. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance make every visit a memorable experience. Highly recommend trying these dishes!
