The best boba shop in this town! Consistently excellent, with an incredible menu of many choices. They truly have something for everyone, and their drinks are well-balanced and genuine. None of that super sugary nonsense, but plenty sweet enough. They use real fruit in their teas, non dairy creamer in their milk teas (a win-win for me), and their toppings are always fresh. The employees are very personable, and they remember their regulars! The location is easily accessible, with lots of parking. Just try not to be too sad when they're closed on one day each week (currently Tuesdays).

I drive by this shop each time I'm near Home Depot or Target and decided to stop in. I wasn't sure how busy it would be with the construction and renovations going on with the plaza, so was stunned when I saw 15+ people in line and waiting for their orders. It was a packed house which is always a great sign. I ordered the kumquat green tea and a mango sago dessert to take home. The drink was very good, the service was impeccable, and dessert was so yummy. Don't pass up trying their homemade desserts. The mini cheesecakes looked delicious as did their cookies. I will for sure be putting this spot on my rotation, since they have an extensive drink menu filled with milk teas, fruit teas, matcha, coffee drinks, and blended drinks.

This is my FAVORITE tea spot in the whole city. Glad they rebranded. The family who runs this place is friendly and always working to improve the shop/introduce new products. Their effort shows in the quality of everything they make. You could order any tea or any dessert and guarantee it'll be delicious. The brown sugar boba is the BEST boba I've ever had. Their more unique items worth stopping by for are the sweet cream coffees, cheesecakes, and spa teas. Just be sure to scale down the sweetness level if you don't like things too sweet. It also makes me happy they have aloe vera, as that can be a hard topping to find!

I went here for the 1st time today, and I could not have been more pleased! Both my delicious tea and the service I received were outstanding!I got a regular matcha milk tea with almond milk and red bean topping. I have to say, matcha green tea is my absolute favorite, and I am very particular about it. I am often disappointed at other tea shops, because many use a pre-mixed powder, which isn't very good and contains unwanted additives. Not so at Me Me! They use actual, real matcha tea, and I tasted the difference immediately. It was hands-down the BEST matcha drink I've ever had at a teashop!I don't like my drinks very sweet, so I got it with 30% sugar, and also light ice. It was perfect for me, but if you like more sweetness, definitely get it sweeter.Another thing to mention is how welcoming, friendly, and helpful the employees were (almost unheard of nowadays!).The only drawback to this lovely tea shop is that there's no seating inside. I would love to be able to sit back and read a book for a while while drinking my tea in such pleasant surroundings! I hope maybe they will find another bigger storefront to move to in Clairemont someday.But even at their present location, I will be a regular customer at Me Me, for sure!

On and off consistency ever since they rebranded. I always get tie guan yin milk tea, but in cases like today, it tastes almost like water….for $7 (with pudding) you are better off going to the 100 other boba place here in San Diego. Tea-espresso is a gimmick when everyone else make strong tea just fine.
The level of sweetness is just right for my Asian parents and I! We love their fruit teas w/lychee jelly and you can never go wrong with getting their taro milk tea and brown sugar milk tea drinks!

Was recommended this spot by some friends and glad we stopped by! The service was fast even though they were busy. The inside was small, and there is no seating area. However. Our drinks came out amazing. There are a bunch of boba and tea options around San Diego, but this one will be on our lists to come back to.

My husband and I are regulars. We stop by every chance we get to MeMe Tea & Dessert. Almost the full holiday season, my husband got the peppermint coffee until they were sold out. We stopped by today before they were closed for Christmas so we could have our fix for the next few days. The service is always quick and nice! We're always greeted upon entering and receive our drinks in record speed. I love trying different drinks, even if I have my top favorites already because everything sounds delicious. Usually I'm afraid to try new off signature drinks once I find my favorite, but MeMe drinks are always good no matter what I've tried. Especially because I do zero percent for my sugar level and the teas are still enjoyable and delicious. Shop is also nice and lovely posters of different drinks that match the real life drinks once you get it. I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing something from MeMe Tea & Dessert!

A unique boba/milk tea/slushie shop offering unique Chinese tea drinks! Unlike the name brand chains that has washed down milk teas, Me Me's teas offer saturated tea flavors. I also appreciate how for most of the milk tea, they can swap out regular milk for almond/oat milk for lactose intolerant folks. My osmanthus oolong milk tea was filled with fragrance and flavors from both herbs. Definitely will be back again!
