Quality has gone down terribly. Quantity is not at all worth it. Hope the management implements changes to the quality and stop focusing only on margins.

Tried the Samosa Chaat at Rasraj (San Diego) and left disappointed. It’s $8.90 for one samosa (about $2 on their menu), around 20 chickpeas, and a bunch of onions and cilantro — basically $7 for garnish and a few chickpeas. The flavor profile also seemed off — not the balanced, tangy chaat I expected. I know things are expensive, but this is just too much. Really miss Surati Farsan — their chaat had flavor, freshness, and value. Pictures are what you’d get.

Absolute worst food. Delhi chat was very bad. Manchurian sizzler was not sizzling, probably was just microwaved. Not worth even spending a cent over there. If I could rate this as zero stars, I would.

Ordered dahi puri. Basically diluted yogurt and canned quality dumplings 2 of those. Some salt and red chili. For $10 could have had a meal. Sad disappointing and a rip-off 🥺
I saw good reviews about this place so went to try it out . Truly speaking quite disappointed, I ordered papri chatt which literally was an disaster, chole bhature where the bhature was like a big size puri rather then bhatura and the dosa was literally soggy and sambar tasted like a tomato curry. There sweets are really good and of nice quality tho .

We got some snacks for a small party. Their service was slow but they made the food fresh.
We got chilli bhaji, aloo tiki, paneer puff, samosas and some fried snacks. The food was amazing fresh and hot

I recently visited the restaurant. We ordered Manchurian dry and other dishes. No flavors in the food, the Manchurian ballls were undercooked. we also ordered paneer frankie it was wrapped in the tortilla. No flavors. I do not recommend this place.

We ordered the Gobi Manchurian, Schezwan Hakka Noodles, and Pav Bhaji. Unfortunately, both the Gobi Manchurian and the noodles had an overpowering and harsh flavor, making them difficult to eat. We also tried the coconut barfi, but it lacked flavor entirely and seemed like it had been frozen. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Chat is excellent. We had pani puri, samosa chat, kachori chat & papdi chat. Everything was tasty, tangy and crispy in all the right ways. Paneer frankie is huge and screaming hot. Totally worth it!

I ordered schezwan hakka noodles and they suggested it is spicy. I have never had noodles which had fennel in it. They should name it fennel hakka noodles, it was so so dominant that I couldn’t taste the noodles or anything else. Won’t suggest having it!
Idly and Medu vada is not fresh. I would give 1 out of 5 rating.
Mysore masala dosa is good though.

Extremely Unsafe Food – A Serious Health Hazard
I bought rasmalai from this restaurant today, and to my absolute horror, it was completely spoiled. A few of our guests — including children — ate it before we realized, and they suffered from vomiting and diarrhea soon after.
How can a restaurant be this negligent with customer health and basic food safety? This is not just bad service — this is dangerous and irresponsible. The owners should be ashamed for putting people, especially children, at risk just to make a few extra dollars.
To make things worse, I noticed several previous reviews warning about the poor quality of their sweets — something I sadly missed before purchasing.
To anyone considering this place: Please do not make the same mistake. Your and your family’s health is not worth the risk.
And to the owners: How do you sleep at night knowing the money you earn comes at the cost of making people sick? Absolutely shameful.

My go-to place for when I want Indian street food. The kachori chaat and pav vada combo is unbeatable.
