Waited 15 minutes for an incredibly diluted iced coffee. This is after they messed up my order several times before. Possibly the worst coffee shop in Hillcrest. I won’t be

Lovely, bright coffee shop. Highly recommend the hash brown delight with an extra egg, there's just the right amount of truffle oil and it's a perfect breakfast! Compliments to the chef.

Good cafe style food. Service is hit or miss and the coffee based drinks are just ok.

Street parking makes the place somewhat hard to access. I only had the salmon on toast, which was really good. They seem to have a good menu.

This location is high on its own damn supply. I've tried to get coffee here four times over the past month, all at different times of day, and have stood in line (no one else there or one person in front of me) for over ten minutes without even being acknowledged, even when I tried to get someone's attention. Today the woman in front of me and I waited fifteen minutes before just giving up. Either they are woefully understaffed or their (extremely jaded) staff is underpaid. When this location was Refill it was so much better, service wise.

This is a good local café. I like the indoor seating area, where there are a lot of seats/tables and outlets if you want to work on something. I used to come here with a friend to paint because they have nice, wide tables available. The menu offers a wide variety of toasts, salad, crepes, and specialty drinks. Today I had the 1904 drink, which was a vanilla raspberry latte, and I enjoyed it a lot. The raspberry flavoring was not too overwhelming, but definitely present. I got it made with light ice, and the amount of ice was also just right. My husband has the Scripps, which was hazelnut and white chocolate. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of this drink. However, they do have a pretty robust menu of latte options, and they also have a separate seasonal menu. I have tried their toasts/crepes in the past when it was still Refill café, and I remember liking it, so I hope they've kept up the quality (the next time I try it, I will post an updated review). I miss the very nice artisan-made mugs they used to have back when they used to be Refill, and I miss the Nutella Mocha and I hope they bring that back!

The most amazing mushroom coffee! No worries not the hallucinogenic kind however, you still feel great the entire day!

Baristas were unbothered on their phones while I waited to order. The chai was so watery, not good at all and 6 dollars. Music was loud, couldn't focus in this environment.

Man this was the best coffee I had in SD. I just get a drip. It wasn’t bitter or acidic. I came in bc a friend recommended it - I’m a bit of a coffee head so I normally take recs lightly. But I was impressed fs. I had to go back to grab a bag of beans to take home as a

Kitchen closes half an hour before they do. I had an avocado toast with sprouts that was DELICIOUS. So fresh and yummy. The staff was very nice and the food came out quickly. I’d like to try a crepe next time. Loved the food and can’t wait to go back.

Horrible coffee place. The wait time for a pick up is ridiculously long. Service with no smile. The morning crew walk around like zombies. they don't look like they want to be there serving customers. Better places to choose elsewhere in Hillcrest.
