This place is more of a luxury then a fast food place due to the price and waiting time. But that isn't bad. Definitely worth the wait. Sunrise chicken and waffle sandwich: 5/5 Don't have any complaints. It's $18 a little pricy but we'll worth it. My lady got the chicken fries: 5/5Stole a couple bites from her. It's fresh and the fries are well fried. She got the chipotle flavor and it was great. They have enough seating for their place. A little crammed but reasonable. The cashier was super friendly and informative. Great service and great experience.

Maybe I went on an off day. I was not expecting it to be wet and doughy. I don't know if I'd even go back. Maybe if I was in the area and just needed to eat, I would order something else.

The waffle was cut into fours, instead of two buttermilk chicken tenders I was blessed with three. The waffle was airy, light, thick, and crunchy on the ends, with some vanilla hints in the batter. Exactly how I love my waffles. I could eat the waffles without the syrup, adding syrup makes it extra delicious. I'm use to fried chicken with bones with my waffles but THEIR chicken tenders works the wonders! Easier and less messier to eat. The seasoning had the right amount of salty, herbs, and a tiny bit of heat. When I saw "herb" I automatically assumed it's going to taste like Thanksgiving but they add just the right amount to taste the herbs without making it feel like it's Thanksgiving. The crispy was crispy good. And the chicken tender meat is white meat yet so plump and juicy. SO GOOD! I was pleasantly surprised that I found my favorite and go-to spot for chicken and waffles in SD after one visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDThey were out of Lemonade and Koolaid but they had some grape soda! l've been wanting to try this spot for years, and finally got to try it! It's the first chicken and waffle restaurant in San Diego, black owned and opened in 2018! I took my meal to the beach and enjoyed the chicken and waffles while watching the waves. The chicken was truly amazing!I ordered:Chicken and waffle plate:1 Belgian waffle, two buttermilk chicken tenders with a side of syrup ~ Rhythm Poppers: 8 deep-fried chicken and waffle bites topped with syrup and powdered sugar.The food was amazing, I was blown away by the flavor and juiciness of the chicken! The poppers had the exact right amount of hot flavor. This is a small little place. I ordered on the phone and it was ready when I got there. The staff spoke to me through a door screen. They had a few tables outside, and I think there are tables in the back but I didn't see. The staff was pretty nice. I got a free drink with a check in . It is close to pacific beach so not very much parking. I got 2 items for $40 which seems like a lot, but I think that's how things are priced now.

I think the reason I rated them 3 is cuz I'm comparing them to howlin Ray's in Los Angeles. Without this flavor comparison this joint is pretty good. We got 3 items for a fair assessment. Cost was $53 which seems high!!! 1 chicken sunrise waffle sandwich which was their best item. 2 the siracha chicken sandwich did not look like the photo & it was disappointing. 3 loaded chicken fries would have been good if it wasn't too salty! Attentive people work here which is always a plus. No dine in but there are shaded benches out on the sidewalk Which we used. To be fair I don't think I had a $53 dollar experience

Delicious! Chicken and Waffles plate was great. I give this joint an A+. He cooked that chicken with perfection and also something about that fluffy waffle...Soooo good. ?Be patience as it is a small hole in wall place, but so worth the wait. Plus they got Kool Aid...say what?! Go check out this place in Pacific Beach-Garnet Avenue.

Delicious! This tastes like grandma's chicken with a tasty side of waffles to go with it. The chicken is seasoned well and moist. This may be a small place but the music is good out on the street too. Great place to stop if you're in pacific beach.

Who doesn't love a hole in the wall chicken and waffle shop in the heart of PB with good music! First time here, but we always walk by and catch the scent of the chicken frying...this time we had to try. We ordered the chicken and waffles combo(fries and a drink) for $19. The waffle was fluffy and the chicken strips were lightly breaded...interesting flavor tasted like Italian seasoning mixed in. Fries were really tasty. The guy there was super nice! Glad we checked it out and would recommend when you're in PB.
The food here is amazing!!! Chicken is nice and juicy while also being well seasoned!!! The only downside of this place is it’s pretty much only grab and go. They have a few tables on the sidewalk to accommodate guest but no servers.Very close to the beach as well so amazing spot to grab brunch before a beach day if you would choose to.

Man, if you don't know about this chicken spot that is in the middle of PB ( Pacific Beach ). You haven't had a good Chicken & Waffles . What you need to do is jump in your car, order it from a delivery app, jump on a bike or however way you will get to Rhythm's but you need to have the best Chicken & Waffle in San Diego. Hands Down !!!No worries, if chicken and waffle isn't your thing cause they got other ways to make your chicken & your stomach fill full. Trust Me !!!

This was so over hyped! The number 3 also known as the chicken waffle sandwich is disgusting ! The chicken was terrible and was grossly covered in syrup! The service was so slow that I saw customers from the restaurant next door come and go. It was so gross meemaw threw up !! If it weren't for the fries this review would not even have stars!! Very disappointed

The best chicken and waffle spot here. I love the other spot but the chicken here was soooo flavorful, I could taste the different seasonings in the chicken. It was made to order so it was perfect. It was cooked crispy. The fries were perfect and the waffle was delicious. Whenever I have friends coming to town, I am definitely taking them to Rhythm's. I love the outside seating with the music playing in the background. It wasn't too loud just right. It's pretty far from my home but it is definitely worth the drive.
