I loved my experience here at the pancake house. They were pretty fast getting our breakfast out. Our entire time only took about 30 minutes. They have such a wide variety of menu items from omelets, pancakes, to even crepes and waffles. I got the two by four with the substitution of the banana pancakes. They were very well made and had soo much flavor. The eggs were amazing. The only negative I’d say is the price, but for being in San Diego, it’s kind of expected! I highly recommend this place for a nice hearty breakfast!

The food here is amazing... Be prepared to wait in line even on a horribly cold and rainy Saturday. Most of the waiting is outside. The wait is worth it.Parking: If you drive here you're going to look for parking for a while.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved it here
Our party arrived at 7 am, the place wasn't busy yet and we were able to get right in. We ordered a variety of items from the steel cut oatmeal, spinach crepe, baked pancake, and the cinnamon pancake. All items came out hot and delicious. The coffee was very good, and the team of employees was always checking on us and refilling our drinks. Highly recommend stopping by to enjoy their great food and service.

Update: Second visit exceptional as well! Well worth the any 15-20 minute wait. They move the line quickly, yet you will never fell rushed to leave as they keep pouring coffee.First visit: a masterful combination of apple pie and french toast is how I would describe the Apple Pancake breakfast. Overly generous portions. Exceptional service. Overall exceptional breakfast visit. Hope to come back before leaving town!

Update: additional visit 3/19/2024:We went back again today because we were so impressed two days ago. We were lucky enough to get Maritza as our server and she remembered us from our previous visit. We ordered the cinnamon baked pancake, pecan baked pancake, omelet(same as two days ago) and the French toast. Once again, we were delighted with our food and service! Could not recommend this any higher! You are missing out if you don’t go here!3/17/2024:We had an amazing breakfast here. The portions were huge and prepared perfectly and exactly as we requested. We ordered the Apple Dutch Pancake, omelet, and chocolate crepes. Our server was attentive even with a very full restaurant. Food came to the table quickly and was piping hot! Highly recommend!
