The strawberry matcha was so good. The wait was a little long but not too bad. only reason i am leaving 3 stars is because their cups are ridiculously small. They are literally the size of water cups at most establishments i was so disappointed especially considering i paid 7.50 for one drink. :(
I stopped by this cozy café on a Saturday morning in San Diego, feeling nostalgic about my trips to Kyoto and Tokyo, and ordered both the Kyoto Matcha Latte and the Strawberry Matcha Latte. Probably one of the best coffee/pastry shops in San Diego. Been to Japan numerous times and this gives me that feeling of being in Kyoto again. I have tried both the espresso + milk and the matcha latte. Both were very good. The best thing I have had here was the black sesame morning bun. It is so decadent but not overly sweet. I have been here 3 times and will keep coming back. The price is also fair (for California standards).
