A comfortable sushi restaurant, with easy to order on table electronic menus. The sushi was yummy, but the thing I'll remember most will be the very tasty edamame.

I brought our company here with 23 people and just about filled up the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a good time. Will definitely come back

I stopped in for lunch and had the chicken teriyaki bowl — and WOW. It was honestly the best chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and the portion was just right. It came with a fresh salad and gyoza on the side, which made it a full, satisfying meal.

The lady at the front was super sweet and welcoming, and the whole place looked really clean and well-kept. You can tell they put care into both their food and service.

This place totally exceeded my expectations — it’s definitely going to be a regular spot for me from now on. Highly recommend!

Order on a device at the table - prices reasonable for sushi in San Diego! Rolls were fresh, tasted great, and staff was quick to deliver food to the table. Small (l~10 tables max) but otherwise great food!

Was on vacation and decided to try a local sushi spot. The sushi was delicious, the ordering off the screen wasn’t my favorite but the food was great and staff was polite

All you can eat sushi isn't all you can eat. I recommend going to another place.

We come here all the time-the best sushi in town! I don’t eat raw fish, and they have great cooked options. Love the Marissa Roll and Spicy Cali Roll-both are delicious with just the right level of heat. My husband enjoys the raw selections, especially the Yellowtail Roll - super fresh, super tasty. We also never misses the Playboy Roll—the soft shell crab is amazing and the staff is always friendly and remembers us!

Perfect sushi. No notes. The service is impeccable. 20% off sushi until 5pm AND its own parking lot? Hidden SD gem tucked away in Hillcrest. My wife and I visited on vacation and we ate lunch here TWO DAYS in a row. Locals, I don’t want to give away your secret but…

I love sushi, and this is the best sushi I’ve ever had, and it’s affordable. I mean I’ve never had $100/roll sushi, but I’ve eaten a lot of it. And RK is top notch. The service is fast and friendly, the appetizers are amazing, the sushi is sooooo good, so fresh, and both a feast for the eyes and the palate. The fish is fresh, they don’t try to hide what’s going on with too much rice, everything is perfect. I mean yellowfin tuna so good it could have been swimming in the ocean earlier that day, vegetables cooked to perfection, all put together with such care. My wife and I always get sushi for our anniversary, and we’ll make the drive back to SD again just for this. Try the Hillcrest roll or the Hot Night roll. I can’t say enough good things about RK. 🤌

Fish is not fresh. Ordering from a screen is not a fun task. Prices don’t represent the quality. Ambiance is uninspired.
