This place should remove matcha from their menu- I bought it and right as she started making it knew it wasn’t going to be good based on what they were using and how it was made. It tasted like an overly sugared protein powder or something. It was so bad, I threw it away.
Would have loved to give it a try, but they were closed at 9:15am on a Sunday. Updated hours would be very helpful.
Very bad service! Waitress not nice at all!!

Awesome coffee! simple, high-quality pour overs and cold brew. Definitely for the coffee snobs looking for high quality coffee like you made it yourself at home. Wish they had a place like this at home. I will be getting coffee here every morning during my conference!

Stopped by Roast Coach this morning which is located near Meze Greek restaurant on 6th Ave in the Gaslamp District. Barista there was super friendly which was a different experience from what some other reviews had noted. Roast Coach offers pour overs and cold brews. Given it was summertime I went with an iced Southern Hospitality which was described as refreshing. It is made with brown sugar and fresh mint along with your choice of milk. I wasn’t a huge fan of the mint taste with the coffee but I wanted to give it a shot. Most likely I would order something else next time. Overall a solid place to get coffee.

Friendly baristas, tasty coffee options, conveniently located in gaslamp only a short walk to convention center and petco park!
The 'dealers choice' is a must try; i added mint to mine and it was sooo refreshing. They also roast their coffee beans and sell cold brew packs. Worth taking some to-go and supporting a small local business! Don't miss it, it's the little hidden gem right outside of Meze Greek restaurant!
Parking: Walkable if you're downtown. There's a loading zone parking spot just across the street for a quick (under 10 min) stop I use and haven't had any issues with it.
Kid-friendliness: They have hot chocolate and tea options!

6 bucks for a small pour over with no flavor? I make better pour overs at home as well. Lesson learned- don’t buy coffee from a stand that doesn’t post their prices. Service was not the friendliest either.
This coffee shop has some of the best coffee in San Diego IMO better than better buzz, Starbucks and other big chains, the dealers choice tasted exactly like a cinnamon roll plus each cup is about the same as the others.

Batista wasn't to friendly and the coffee was average at my best.
I stopped in to this little establishment on my way to the San Diego zoo this morning. It wasn't what I expected, and for what it is it's great. The entire place is pour over coffee only, so if you're looking for an espresso based beverage you won't find it here. I got a mocha styled drink and it was surprisingly decent. The barista was friendly, sadly I didn't get her name, and the stand is nice and clean; but, due to its location there is no seating. If you want to sit you need to occupy the restaurant next door, which I assume after 9:00am opens up and you can no longer use.Either way if you want a unique pour over coffee experience, this is a nice little stop that won't hurt your wallet.
Vegetarian options: It's coffee only, so you have no concern of meat utilization. There are even vegan friendly milk products.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's a stand, so there are no access limitations.
Dietary restrictions: You have milk options to support various dietary requirements.
