I was told about Rob’s a while ago by my neighbor who really loved it, luckily I was in the area on jury summons (big county court across the street)- and so glad I came during break!
You’re met with a friendly welcome and you can immediately smell the freshness of pulled coffee. I knew no matter what I’d order, I was in good hands. You know those kinds of places?
I went with the Beehive, a latte with honey and vanilla; two of my favorite flavor profiles. I was really impressed, you taste the quality of the coffee with every sip. In fact, the barista carefully weighed each espresso handle. Not too sweet, just a smooth latte nicely balanced
I hope to be back for more, particularly the seasonal drinks!

Love this place. Whenever I’m in town from LA my brother and I grab a coffee every morning. I always get two coffees, one of them always the Beehive flavor which is amazing. Now that the Dodgers have won another World Series and the Padres haven’t since….ever, I’ll be sure to come by with my new Dodgers hat on. In all seriousness this place is my favorite coffee spot, for the tasty coffee, atmosphere and staff; good coffee and good people.

👌 Rob, Robbie, and Rob are all awesome. The Banana cream latte is great. The hot chocolate is served with latte 🎨 art so they take every pour seriously. If you are coffee-hopping, restrooms are at Main Street Donuts Deli and Catering as are donuts. So, go there next.

i ordered one of the current seasonal drinks featured on the menu, the dirty banana latte, and it was genuinely one of the best coffees i have had in months in san diego!!!! i’m still thinking about it and talking with my family today about how delicious it was, i will most definitely return to this coffee shop and highly recommend to others :)

I have been in there a couple times I like supporting but one day I went in there had my casual talk & tried handing them something about taxes that I am spreading around I'm not getting paid I jus want to share it AND the guy acted like I was handing him GERMS, Harmless info more pertinent than most people know but it's ok these guys are fine dudes with good coffee , I understand how busy they can get & they have little casual time...
Wry cute shop with a great latte! Staff were friendly and parking was easy.
