If you want a proper classic cappuccino, and not over-roasted garbage coffee with a ton of flavor syrup in it, this is your place. The cappuccino is smooth and flavorful, and the owner is lovely. We were visiting from out of town and ended up going back every morning because the coffee was so tasty. This is the spot. Delicious!

I was visiting family in the area and we ordered 5 drinks. I am pretty familiar with what an espresso shot tastes like since I drink one a day. I let the person know that it was sour and I was told “I don’t know what you want me to do about it” I was appalled at the way that they treated us they misunderstood our order and the place over all is very unwelcoming. Not a lot of food options.The Americano was regular. If you want sour espresso with a sour attitude this is the place.

I was told about Rob’s a while ago by my neighbor who really loved it, luckily I was in the area on jury summons (big county court across the street)- and so glad I came during break!
You’re met with a friendly welcome and you can immediately smell the freshness of pulled coffee. I knew no matter what I’d order, I was in good hands. You know those kinds of places?
I went with the Beehive, a latte with honey and vanilla; two of my favorite flavor profiles. I was really impressed, you taste the quality of the coffee with every sip. In fact, the barista carefully weighed each espresso handle. Not too sweet, just a smooth latte nicely balanced
I hope to be back for more, particularly the seasonal drinks!

Love this place. Whenever I’m in town from LA my brother and I grab a coffee every morning. I always get two coffees, one of them always the Beehive flavor which is amazing. Now that the Dodgers have won another World Series and the Padres haven’t since….ever, I’ll be sure to come by with my new Dodgers hat on. In all seriousness this place is my favorite coffee spot, for the tasty coffee, atmosphere and staff; good coffee and good people.
