I ordered from them and received confirmation that my food was ready for pick up. When I got there, the cashier told me they didn’t have my order available and they ran out and said I’ll have to pick something else. I asked for a refund and she started getting rude and said they don’t do refunds and she can’t give me one. I told her I wouldn’t like anything else and just need a refund and asked why did I receive a message confirming my order is ready for pickup when it wasn’t. She said no message was sent to me confirming the food was ready. This is when the nice gentleman in the back said he’ll make my order for me from scratch. It was my first time trying here and it will be my last.

One of the more better Jamaican restaurants in San Diego, California. I typically order the oxtail; the oxtail I had last time was exceptionally tender, accompanied by rice and peas, as well as steamed cabbage. The steam cabbage could benefit from a slight enhancement in flavor.. Furthermore, since the establishment underwent a renaming from Rocksteady to Sweet Spot, the bar area appears somewhat neglected, suggesting that improvements in its aesthetic appeal are imminent.

Genuine Jamaican Food in San Diego.
Love the music and vibe here.
With a patio available you can choose to dine inside or out.
Their oxtail is worth a try.

While I was stationed here this was my go to spot for Oxtail and Curry Goat! All the right flavors and vibes! I will be returning in a few weeks with the family!

Overpriced flavorless food. Nice people and good service though
The jerk chicken was the best I've ever had.

I wanted to like this place but our order was lackluster. We ordered oxtail and jerked chicken but they didn’t include any jerked chicken and instead put what I think is goat curry instead. I was not informed of this change so I wasn’t happy about it. In addition the Jamaican rice was burnt so I couldn’t enjoy it. The flavoring of veggies and meat was good though so I’m sure if the rice wasn’t burnt it would’ve been a different story.
